02:27It's been interesting to see if DeFrancisco can tag along with Hayden Deegan,

02:37We told you at the top of the show about that thrilling three-rider fight
02:42for second in this championship.
02:44And Ryder DeFrancisco is one of those three athletes in this fight.

02:51I got to chat to his parents, the team manager over there,
02:54Rockstar Husqvarna, just to see kind of what mindset Ryder DeFrancisco was in.
02:59And as you said, Lee, well, he's battling for the second place.
03:02And they said, look, we'd love to see a couple of podiums out of him here,
03:05but their big focus is getting that second place in the championship.
03:09Yes, there's money on the line of him, but there's also incentive.
03:12He said, you know, there's bragging rights.
03:14But at the same time, if he goes in to next season knowing that he was second
03:19to the guy, Hayden Deegan, that has now moved out,
03:22he said that's just a confidence builder.
03:24He goes in going, I could be the guy for the 2027 season.
03:27And that is worth the money, yes,
03:29but that's worth the confidence boost there as well.
03:32Well, 100%, Will.
03:34I mean, again, he's racing one of the best guys to ever have raced a 250,
03:38so he can't be too hard on himself.
03:40And honestly, too, you think about the year that Ryder D has had.
03:44I think this is somewhat of a breakout year.
03:47These results that he has put in this year, Lee, I truly believe this is what we kind of knew
03:52that he could do, and it's great to see him, you know, change up his program a little bit.
03:57He's got way more body strength.
04:00He's in fantastic shape, working hard off of the bike, and his results show for that.

06:47Yeah, I feel like I have completed everything I've ever wanted to on a 250.
06:52There's nothing else I can really do that would satisfy me besides going out here and trying to, you know,
06:56break those records.
06:57I bet he completed all my goals, to be honest.
07:00But now it's just, you know, those little goals like that, getting on the record looks like that.
07:04It's pretty cool.
07:04So we're chasing that.
07:06Yeah, you've got to find some motivation somewhere, right?
07:09And he has.
07:10He's done an incredible job in a short amount of time.
07:13It's going to be so much fun here at the end of the month at Fox Raceway, Pala, California.
07:19And watch this young guy start his debut in that 450 class, the premier class of the SMX World Championship.
