00:00Mr. President, Mr. President, can you tell us about the new Iranian proposal?
00:05Can you tell us about the new Iranian proposal, please?
00:08So, they want to make a deal, but I don't, I'm not satisfied with it.
00:12So, we'll see what happens.
00:13Did it move the needle out?
00:14Iran wants to make a deal because they have no military left, essentially.
00:19And they want to make a deal, but I'm not satisfied with it.
00:24Mr. President, why are you not seeking congressional approval
00:29to extend it?
00:30Because it's never been sought before.
00:32There's been numerous, many, many times,
00:34and nobody's ever gotten it before.
00:36They consider it totally unconstitutional.
00:38But we're always in touch with Congress.
00:40But nobody's ever sought it before.
00:43Nobody's ever asked for it before.
00:45It's never been used before.
00:47Why should we be different?
00:49Are you willing to send anybody to Islamabad this time?
00:55Are you willing to send anybody to Islamabad?
01:00We have great respect for Pakistan and Islamabad,
01:05and tremendous respect for the prime minister and the field marshal.
01:08And they're working with us.
01:10They continue to work with us.
01:11But the trip is a very long one, and we're doing everything in terms of negotiating right now,
01:19in terms of the negotiation telephonically.
01:23They've made strides, but I'm not sure if they ever get there.
01:30There's tremendous discord.
01:32There's tremendous — they're having a tremendous problem getting along with each other in Iran.
01:37The leadership is very disjointed.
01:40It's got two to three groups, maybe four.
01:44And it's a very disjointed leadership.
01:47And with that being said, they all want to make a deal, but they're all messed up.
01:59I spoke with your — the winner, a very good man.
02:04As you know, I was very strongly in favor of him in Iraq.
02:09And we had a long conversation yesterday.
02:12I congratulated him.
02:14He won.
02:15And with our help, he won.
02:17And we want him to do very well.
02:19And I told him that the United States is with him all the way.
02:22It was a great victory.
02:25The new head of Iraq is somebody that we support very strongly.
02:28The Pressel.
02:29The Pressel.
02:30The Pressel.
02:31The Pressel.
02:32Thank you, Mr. President.
02:33Pakistan has opened the land route with Iran.
02:37Did they insult you before opening it up to Iran?
02:41And are you aware of it?
02:43The Pressel.
02:43That was a vicious bee.
02:46I know everything about it.
02:47Yeah, I have great — I have great respect.
02:49The Pressel.
02:50The Pressel.
02:50The Pressel.
02:51Are you from Pakistan?
02:52The Pressel.
02:52I have great respect for Pakistan and for the field marshal
02:56and for the Prime Minister.
02:58On the European Union yesterday, you talked about Italy and the withdrawal of troops from
03:03Europe, from Italy and Spain.
03:05Can you clarify your work?
03:07Well, I'm not happy with Italy and I'm not happy with Spain.
03:11And they've done — they don't — they feel it's okay for Iran to have a nuclear weapon.
03:16Anybody that feels it's okay for Iran to have a nuclear weapon is not very smart.
03:22And it'll be a terrible thing in the future.
03:25If they were ever allowed to have a nuclear weapon, you would have problems,
03:30the likes of which the world has never seen before, and it's not going to happen.
03:35And aside from that, right now they have no Navy.
03:39It's been wiped out.
03:40No Air Force.
03:41It's been wiped out.
03:42They have no anything.
03:43They have no anti-aircraft.
03:44They have no radar.
03:46They have no leaders, because, frankly, their leaders are very disjointed.
03:51They have a lot of problems right now.
03:53They're not getting along with each other.
03:55Their leaders — their leaders are not getting along with each other, so.
04:01The Press, that's why.
04:05Why did you do the —
04:07The President, why did you do the tariffs here?
04:07The President, why did you do the tariffs here?
04:07We raised the tariffs on cars coming in from the European Union,
04:11because the European Union was not adhering to the trade deal we have.
04:15So, based on that, now, when they build their plans of which we're spending, they're spending
04:21over $100 billion all countries, not just the Union.
04:25When those plans open, there won't be any tariffs.
04:27But we raised the tariffs because they were not, as usual, they were not adhering to the
04:33agreement that we have.
04:34We have a trade deal with the European Union.
04:36They were not adhering to it.
04:38So I raised the tariffs on cars and trucks to 25 percent.
04:43That's billions of dollars coming into the United States, and it forces them to move
04:49their factory production much faster.
04:52We have, right now, in the United States, over $100 billion of car plants being built.
05:01It's a record.
05:01We've never had anything like it from all countries, Japan, South Korea, every — by
05:08the way, Canada, Mexico — they're all building plants in the United States.
05:12But the European Union was not adhering to the deal that we made.
05:25So we're dealing with Iran, as you know, it's a very disjointed, unfriendly leadership,
05:30unfriendly to each other.
05:31They're not getting along.
05:33They're very, very confused by what's happened because, essentially, most of their military
05:38has been wiped out.
05:40But we just had a conversation with Iran.
05:42Let's see what happens.
05:43But I would say that I am not happy.
05:46The President, will you try to get some bailing out here now?
05:48The President, their leadership is very disjointed, very argumentative with each other.
05:54They come back.
05:55One says one thing.
05:56One says another.
05:57They're very confused.
06:00Obviously, their country has been, frankly, decimated.
06:03Their Navy is gone.
06:05Their Air Force is gone.
06:06Many of their soldiers, unfortunately, are gone.
06:11They've got to come up with the right deal.
06:13At this moment, I'm not satisfied with what they're doing.
06:16Did you decide against bailing out Spirit Airlines?
06:21Well, I guess we're looking at it.
06:23If we can do it, we'll do it.
06:24But only if it's a good deal.
06:25They're claiming that they're preparing to shut down this weekend because they haven't
06:28gotten a deal.
06:28Well, we're looking at it.
06:30But if we can't make a good deal, no institutions have been able to do it.
06:33I said, I'd like to save the jobs.
06:36But we'll have an announcement sometime today.
06:38We gave them it.
06:39We gave them a final proposal.
06:41Mr. President, will you be able to secuse a lot of nuclear services?
06:44Excuse me.
06:45Mr. President, day 60, are you going to seek congressional authorization for
06:49Well, no other country has ever done it.
06:53It's never been, as you know.
06:55Most people consider it totally unconstitutional.
06:59Also, we had to cease fire, so that gives you additional time.
07:02But no other country has done it.
07:04We're in the midst of a big victory.
07:06This is a victory like we haven't had since Venezuela, okay, to be honest with you.
07:11We haven't had.
07:12But, you know, we have a country that lost its way.
07:16It really lost its way.
07:18That's our country in terms of the military.
07:21Now we have a great military.
07:23We're on our way to another victory, a big victory.
07:26And I don't think that it's constitutional of what they're asking for.
07:30These are not patriotic people that are asking.
07:33You know, when they say, even the losers, even the ones that say all the wrong things, admit that it's
07:40been amazing what we've done.
07:42The strait is totally shut down.
07:45It's flawless.
07:46It's totally 100 percent shut down.
07:48Now, we've been dealing with Iran.
07:51They want to make a deal.
07:53They're not there.
07:54They're not with a — not — they're sort of — they get close.
07:58And then a new group of people come in.
08:00They don't know who their leaders are.
08:02They have no idea who their leaders are.
08:05But they're very confused.
08:07And that's because of the success we've had militarily.
08:10They essentially have no military.
08:16Let me just tell you the war powers.
08:18So many presidents, as you know, have gone and exceeded it.
08:22It's never been used.
08:25It's never been it here to.
08:26And every other president considered it totally unconstitutional.
08:30And we agree with it.
08:37Will Iran?
08:38Will Iran affect the ChinaAA given a war Kandieff?
08:42No.
08:42The China — it's going to be amazing.
08:45The visit with China and Chairman Xi, that's going to be great.
08:52We have the trip with China coming up, and it'll be,
08:55I think it'll be an amazing event.
09:01The Press, President, if you can't get a deal on Iran,
09:06what's next?
09:07What will you do?
09:08The President, well, right now we have negotiations
09:11going on.
09:12They're not getting there, but they are very disjointed.
09:16They're extremely disjointed.
09:18They're not able to get along with each other as leaders.
09:21They don't know who the leader is.
09:23Their military has been defeated.
09:25We've had a, if we left right now, it would take them 20 years
09:28to build back that country.
09:30But we're not satisfied at this point.
09:34The Press, President, are you preparing new strikes on Iran?
09:43Why would I tell you that?
09:47Here at airlines, what has been the holdup on a deal?
09:50Are they bobbing?
09:51We're looking at it.
09:51We're looking to try to help them.
09:52Something we're not looking to get involved with,
09:54but if we've had a 14,000 job, we are, I would say we're
10:00driving enough deal, but it's one of those things.
10:02We'll do it or we won't.
10:03We'll have something for you.
10:05It's been here tomorrow.
10:05It seems like the other lenders are bobbing.
10:08They think they'll get bumped down in priority.
10:09Well, they will, and we come first.
10:12Hey, you know what it is?
10:14USA first, America first, including with airlines,
10:18including with Intel.
10:19You know, we made an Intel deal.
10:21You know that, right?
10:22We made about $40 billion on that.
10:24And someday Fox and Peter is going to talk about it.
10:27We helped out Intel, and we ended up making $40 billion.
10:32So we're looking at Spirit different kind of a thing,
10:36but we're looking at Spirit and we can help them, but we will.
10:39But we have to come first.
10:41We're first.
10:42America first.
10:43The DOS Tropics came to meet Susie Wilds a week or two ago.
10:47What is the latest on your position on that company?
10:49Well, only that they had a very good meeting.
10:52You had the CENTCOM commander come in here yesterday.
10:55Was he briefing you on a different approach, options?
11:00What kind of options?
11:00How would it look different?
11:01Well, there are options.
11:02I mean, do we want to go and just blast the hell out of them
11:05and finish them forever?
11:07Or do we want to try and make a deal?
11:09Let me go to the options.
11:10Do you want to go blast the hell out of them
11:11and finish them forever?
11:13I prefer not.
11:13On a human basis, I prefer not.
11:16But that's the option.
11:16Do we want to go in there heavy and just blast them away?
11:21Or do we want to do something?
11:23They're a very disjointed unit ship, as you can understand.
11:26They're very disjointed.
11:27I mean, they're not getting along with each other.
11:32And it puts us in a bad position.
11:35One group wants to make a certain deal.
11:37The other group wants to make a certain deal.
11:39Including the hardliners.
11:41The hardliners want to make a deal, too.
11:43Why wouldn't they?
11:44They have no Navy.
11:45They have no Air Force.
11:47They have no anti-aircraft.
11:48They have no nothing.
11:52There's a report this week that, because of all the firepower
11:57required for Epic Fury, that there are people in the White House
11:59who are starting to worry about our inventory of bombs and missiles.
12:03Are you worried?
12:04No, no.
12:04We have more than we've ever had, actually.
12:08Because all over the world, we have inventory.
12:10And we can take that if we need it.
12:12But all over the world, we have tremendous amounts of inventory.
12:15The best.
12:15For instance, we're stocked and locked and loaded.
12:19Right now, we have more than double what we had when this started.
12:24But, you know, we're all over the world with many, many different countries,
12:28many different places, all packed up.
12:31Now, what happened is, Biden came in like a stupid fool,
12:36and he gave a lot of what we had to Ukraine.
12:41And the 350 billion dollars they spent, we don't do that.
12:46Everybody has to pay.
12:47The European Union pays us, but Biden didn't get money.
12:51He got nothing.
12:53He got nothing.
12:54But he gave a lot of the inventory away.
12:56Now, relatively speaking, it's not that much,
12:59but it was a lot of inventory.
13:01He gave it to Ukraine.
13:03We filled it up, but we have inventory from all over the world.
13:06Are you going to go to the D7?
13:08The D7 is in France, you choose.
13:10Will you go to it?
13:11Probably.
13:12Mr. President, Mr. President,
13:15did the King change your mind about President NATO?
13:19What about NATO?
13:20Did the King change your mind, King Charles?
13:22No, no, the King and I had a great sister.
13:24He's just a great person.
13:26He's a high-quality person.
13:28I love the job he did in Congress.
13:30He actually got the Democrats to stand.
13:33He's a wonderful person.
13:34She's a wonderful lady, a wonderful queen,
13:37and we had a good time.
13:39Mr. President, will the Lebanese, will the Lebanese
13:42and the German leaders be meeting here soon at the White House?
13:44Yeah, they're going to be coming.
13:45President, when do you go to a...
13:47This is going to be your first big public event
13:50since somebody tried to kill you on Saturday.
13:53Do you feel safe going to something like this today?
13:56I don't even think about it, Peter.
13:58What about the big vote?
14:00Do you still support a pardon for Pete Rose, sir?
14:05Oh, I think Pete Rose was great.
14:07I think Pete Rose should have been in the Baseball Hall of Fame
14:11a long time ago, a long time ago before his death.
14:15I think baseball did a great disservice by not respecting
14:19his achievements on the field.
14:20He was a great player.
14:21I knew him, I knew him, I knew him well.
14:23He was a great player.
14:24Mr. President, sir.
14:26It seems like you're happy with your blockade,
14:31and you don't have to restart the war,
14:34or you don't have to make a deal.
14:35Is that correct?
14:36Are you happy with the blockade?
14:38The blockade has been unbelievable.
14:41Powerful, 100%.
14:43It's been actually unbelievable.
14:46If we left right now, we had a great victory,
14:48but we're not doing that, we're negotiating with them.
14:53Their teams are unbelievably disjointed,
14:56but we are negotiating.
14:57Mr. President, sir, the NASDAQ and the S&P 500
15:01posted their biggest monthly gain since your first term, sir.
15:05Can you talk about what this means to you,
15:07the stock market performance, and do you believe
15:09that this is going to continue throughout the rest of your term?
15:11The President, thank you.
15:12The stock market is hitting record numbers.
15:14We have more people working in the USA today
15:17than we've ever had working, as you know.
15:21It's in many ways.
15:22Now, when this war ends, gasoline and oil and everything
15:27is going to come tumbling down.
15:29But right now, as of this moment,
15:31the stock market has hit record highs.
15:35We have more people, again, working in the United States today
15:38that at any time in the history of our country,
15:41we are really doing well.
15:44Now, gasoline's high.
15:46Other prices are way down, but gasoline's high.
15:48But when this is over, you'll have a world
15:51without a nuclear weapon with Iran.
15:54If you allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon,
15:57the world would be in great jeopardy.
16:00So we're talking about it.
16:01As soon as the war ends, the gasoline prices will go.
16:06You're going down to the villages.
16:08You're going to be talking to our seniors.
16:10You've delivered for seniors.
16:11No tax on Social Security.
16:13Most favored nations.
16:14Can you talk about everything that you've done
16:16to help our senior population, sir?
16:18Well, no tax on tips.
16:20We have the largest tax cuts in the history of our country,
16:23also, and regulation cuts.
16:26And it's one of the reasons we're doing so well.
16:27So we have no tax on tips,
16:30no tax on Social Security for our seniors.
16:32We have no tax on overtime.
16:34And, you know, something that nobody talks about,
16:37if you buy a car, if it's American-made,
16:40you get a deduction on interest for income tax.
16:44And, by the way, very importantly,
16:47right over there is the greatest,
16:50you're going to have the greatest ballroom ever built.
16:53It's on time, on budget, and it's doing great.
16:57Mr. President, you're going to be hosting the first-ever
17:01UFC fight at the White House in 45 days, sir.
17:05Can you preview the event?
17:07Can you talk about the card and what does it mean?
17:08Can you preview the event? Can you talk about the card and what does it mean?
17:09The President, you're going to have some of the greatest champions in the world.
17:11The arena will start building it over the next week.
17:14It's right here. It will be about 5,000 seats.
17:17You'll have 100,000 people down by the Ellipse with squeeze.
17:21And it's all free. It's going to be great.
17:23Mr. President, what's your message to Americans who are facing the pain of my gas burden?
17:40Well, we just announced we have more people working in the United States today
17:44than ever before in history.
17:47Outside of the gasoline, prices are way down.
17:49Prices have come down. Groceries have — and I inherited that.
17:53We inherited the highest inflation in the history of our country, 48 years.
17:57In the history of our country.
18:02And prices are down. When the war ends, it shouldn't be too long.
18:07They want to make a deal so badly, but they're not there yet.
18:10They're not there, in my opinion, they're not there yet.
18:13When the war ends, gasoline prices are going to tumble.
18:16Because there is so much, right now, on the seas, already loaded into tankers.
18:22Tankers that can't escape the straits.
18:25There is so much, like, record-setting.
18:28But when the war ends, gasoline prices will go down to the lower they were —
18:35I think it's very important.
18:37I think it's very important.
18:38The stock market just hit an all-time high.
18:41And again, more people working today than at any time ever.
18:45And we just got the largest tax cut in history, which is no tax cut.
18:49Mr. President, you —
18:52Mr. President, if you — Mr. Kurdish —
18:56Do you like him?
18:58Yeah, yeah.
18:58Go ahead.
19:00I love you, Mr. President.
19:02Mr. President, thank you.
19:04Thank you, Mr. President.
19:06Mr. President, you said you send weapons to help Iranian demonstrators.
19:12There are some sort of clients, these weapons are in Sulaymania, in Iraqi Kurdistan.
19:18Do you confirm that?
19:20And as you said, they will pay a big price?
19:24Mr. President, I'm not happy with the delivery of the weapons.
19:29I'm not thrilled with it.
19:31But a small amount of weapons were sent.
19:35And we'll see who has them.
19:37But I'm not happy with what happened with the Kurds.
19:40The Kurds did not deliver the weapons like this.
19:43Mr. President, we're doing great production.
19:56We're producing more oil right now.
19:57That's the other thing.
19:58We have more oil production right now than any time in history.
20:03And if you take a look at the ships, they're all coming up to Texas, Louisiana, Alaska.
20:08Did you see the line?
20:10What do they call it?
20:11The Tango.
20:11The Tango.
20:12But that is some line of ships.
20:14They're all coming up.
20:16They're loading up.
20:17The biggest ships in the world are coming up to Louisiana, Texas, and to Alaska.
20:22And they're loading up.
20:25And I don't want to say it, but our country is getting stronger and stronger.
20:31This has been amazing.
20:32The amount of oil and gas that we're selling now is at a level that nobody's ever seen.
20:41Would you consider Ron DeSantis for a cabinet position?
20:45Well, I like them a lot.
20:48I like them a lot.
20:49I like them a lot.
20:50Mr. Ron, can you tell us you said you're not satisfied with the plan right now?
20:54Can you tell us what specifically you're not satisfied with?
20:57They're asking the things that I can't agree from.
20:59Mr. President, Mr. President.
