U.S. President Donald Trump has revealed that America was just “one hour away” from launching military strikes on Iran before the operation was suddenly paused. Trump said US forces were fully prepared and “all set to go,” raising fears of a major escalation in Middle East tensions. The dramatic statement comes amid growing uncertainty over Iran’s nuclear program and ongoing behind-the-scenes negotiations involving Gulf nations. Questions are now mounting over whether the US could still launch attacks in the coming days.

00:00How close were you to striking a run? You said you were going to attack. Did you have planes in
00:04the air?
00:05I was an hour away. We were all set to go. You're talking about yesterday.
00:10Yes. We were going to be striking very, it would have been happening right now.
00:13Were plans in the air ready to go?
00:15The boats, the ships are all loaded. They're loaded to the brim. And we were all set to start.
00:20What specifically did both nations tell you that convinced you to hold on?
00:25They said that they feel they've had for the first time in almost 47 years.
00:30You know, Iran's been the bully of the Middle East for 47 years.
00:34I mean, literally the bully of the Middle East.
00:37They're nasty, very nasty, very dangerous.
00:40They wanted a nuclear weapon.
00:41Had I not terminated Barack Hussein Obama's Iran nuclear deal, had I not terminated it, see, that's the wind.
00:48That can't happen with the real structure.
00:50Other countries have come to me and they've said we were getting ready to do a very major attack tomorrow.
00:55I've put it off for a little while, hopefully, maybe forever, but possibly for a little while.
01:00Because we've had very big discussions with Iran.
01:04We'll see what they amount to.
01:05I was asked by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE and some others.
01:10Other countries have come to me and they've said we were getting ready to do a very major attack tomorrow.
01:14I've put it off for a little while, hopefully, maybe forever, but possibly for a little while.
01:20Because we've had very big discussions with Iran and we'll see what they amount to.
01:26I was asked by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE and some others if we could put it off for two or
01:33three days, a short period of time.
01:34Because they think that they are getting very close to making a deal.
01:38And if we can do that, where there's no nuclear weapon going into the hands of Iran, I think, and
01:43if they're satisfied, we will be probably satisfied also.
01:49We've informed Israel.
01:50We've informed other people in the Middle East that have been involved with us.
01:55And, you know, it's a very positive development, but we'll see whether or not it amounts to anything.
01:59We've had periods of time where we had, we thought, pretty much getting close to making a deal and it
02:06didn't work out.
02:06But this is a little bit different.
02:08No, we're ready going tomorrow.
02:09Very big.
02:10And not something I wanted to do, but we have no choice because we cannot let Iran have a nuclear
02:17weapon.
02:17Yeah.
02:20Justice Department has this new fund that was announced today, $1.7 billion.
02:26Why should taxpayers pay for the January 6th?
02:30Well, it's been very well received, I have to tell you.
02:33I know very little about it.
02:34I wasn't involved in the whole creation of it and the negotiation.
02:40But this is reimbursing people that were horribly treated, horribly treated.
02:44It's anti-weaponization.
02:46They've been weaponized.
02:47They've been, in some cases, imprisoned wrongly.
02:50They paid legal fees that they didn't have.
02:52They've gone bankrupt.
02:53Their lives have been destroyed.
02:55And they turn out to be right.
02:56I mean, it was a terrible period of time in the history of our country.
03:00And they worked on it.
03:02I know the Justice Department, it's really been working on it very hard.
03:06There's been numerous other occasions over the years where things like this have been done.
03:10But these were people that were weaponized and really treated brutally by a system that was so corrupt, with corrupt
03:17people running it.
03:18And they're getting reimbursed for their legal fees and the other things that they had to suffer.
03:23Yeah, please.
03:25Daniel, go ahead.
03:27Hold it.
03:28Hold it.
03:28Daniel, please.
03:29Thank you, Mr. President.
03:30It's pretty remarkable seeing you and Mark Cuban up there and the fact that, obviously, Mark endorsed Kamala Harris back
03:36in 2020.
03:37Well, he made a mistake.
03:38It was a big mistake.
03:40What does this say about what you two are building here?
03:43Well, it says we love people.
03:45We love our country.
03:46He wants to.
03:47He's got a good company.
03:48And he's going to do a lot of business with this.
03:50And I'm going to get drugs out through Amazon, through the whole group.
03:54And we're going to get drugs out.
03:56And Mark wanted to be a part of it.
03:59And I think Mark was very gracious.
04:01He said, this is something that really works.
04:03First time you've seen it.
04:05And he had to believe that if he said it about me.
04:07You have to understand that.
04:08But, look, I think I have a lot of respect for Mark, frankly, and I always have.
