Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to Iran following a high-level meeting with U.S. Central Command, raising fears of further escalation in the ongoing conflict. Reports suggest strategic targets like Kharg Island—which handles the majority of Iran’s oil exports—could again come into focus.

Trump signaled that military options remain on the table if Tehran refuses to shift its stance, even as negotiations remain uncertain. The warning follows earlier U.S. strikes on Iranian military sites and a continuing blockade in the Strait of Hormuz, intensifying global energy concerns and geopolitical tensions.

00:00You had a ZECOM commander come in here yesterday.
00:03Was he briefing you on a different approach, options?
00:07What kind of options?
00:08How would it look different?
00:10I mean, do we want to go and just blast the hell out of them and finish them forever?
00:14Or do we want to try and make a deal?
00:16I mean, those are the options.
00:17Do you want to go blast the hell out of them and finish them forever?
00:21On a human basis, I prefer not.
00:23But that's the option.
00:24Do we want to go in there heavy and just blast them away?
00:28Or do we want to do something?
00:31They're a very disjointed unership, as you can understand, Peter.
00:34Very disjointed.
00:35I mean, they're not getting along with each other.
00:40And it puts us in a bad position.
00:42One group wants to make a certain deal.
00:45The other group wants to make a certain deal.
00:47Including the hardliners.
00:49The hardliners want to make a deal, too.
00:50Why wouldn't they?
00:52They have no Navy.
00:53They have no Air Force.
00:54They have no anti-aircraft.
00:56They have no nothing.
00:58You know, it's a very disjointed, unfriendly leadership, unfriendly to each other.
01:03They're not getting along.
01:05They're very, very confused by what's happened.
01:07Because essentially, most of their military has been wiped out.
01:11But we just had a conversation with Iran.
01:14Let's see what happens.
01:15But I would say that I am not happy.
01:19Their leadership is very disjointed, very argumentative with each other.
01:25They come back.
01:26One says one thing.
01:28One says another.
01:29They're very confused.
01:31Obviously, their country has been, frankly, decimated.
01:35Their Navy is gone.
01:36Their Air Force is gone.
01:38Many of their soldiers, unfortunately, are gone.
01:43They've got to come up with the right deal.
01:45At this moment, I'm not satisfied with what they're going to do.
01:47We have great respect for Pakistan and Islamabad, and tremendous respect for the prime minister
01:55and the field marshal.
01:56And they're working with us.
01:58They continue to work with us.
01:59But the trip is a very long one.
02:01And we're doing everything in terms of negotiating right now, in terms of the negotiation telephonically.
02:11They've made strides, but I'm not sure if they ever get there.
02:17There's tremendous discord.
02:20There's tremendous — they're having a tremendous problem getting along with each other in Iran.
02:25The leadership is very disjointed.
02:28It's got two to three groups, maybe four.
02:31And it's a very disjointed leadership.
02:34And with that being said, they all want to make a deal, but they're all messed up.
