00:00I wanted to start in terms of giving the credit to Mike Brown because he made the proper adjustments
00:04and he took a lot of heat on this radio station a week ago.
00:07I think we all stand by it.
00:08I mean, that heat was deserved.
00:10He made the proper adjustments, some of the adjustments a lot of us wanted, and congratulations to him.
00:14But when it comes to players on the floor, there is an unquestioned MVP of this series,
00:20and his name is Ogie Ananobi.
00:22Awesome.
00:22Ogie Ananobi, even in losses, was the New York Knicks' best player.
00:26And I think ultimately over this six-game series and Carl Anthony Towns, another triple-double, he was awesome.
00:31He certainly was a part of the adjustments that were made by Coach Brown.
00:35Ogie Ananobi, from beginning to end, was the best player on the floor.
00:38Listen to these final—I'm going to read them.
00:40They're real, believe it or not.
00:42These are not made-up numbers.
00:43They're real and they're spectacular.
00:44Oh, they are.
00:45And this is six games.
00:46So a sample size of six games.
00:48Ogie Ananobi shot 61% from the field and 57% from three.
00:57He made 17 of 30 shots from three.
01:01Unbelievable.
01:03That isn't even human.
01:04That's video game stuff.
01:05And that's not even including the defensive intensity that Ogie has played with.
01:10Ogie Ananobi on so many levels.
01:13I don't even—it's almost disrespectful to call him an X-Factor because he's better than that.
01:16But he is.
01:18His health's an X-Factor, I mean.
01:19Yeah, I guess that's what it would be.
01:20When you look at the last two years.
01:21Sure.
01:21Him staying on the floor is the X-Factor.
01:24But everything he brings—and you go back to the building of this team by Leon Rose,
01:28and there's a lot of bricks in the wall, right?
01:31Obviously, signing Jalen Brunson is probably the biggest brick.
01:35But that trade, which I'll never forget, because there was a lot of negative reaction
01:39when the trade was first made of R.J. Barrett and Emmanuel quickly going to Toronto,
01:44and here comes Ogie Ananobi.
01:46What a trade.
01:47What a deal.
