00:00Has it been the same kind of approach this time with this kind of extended break-through you guys did
00:05last time?
00:06Yeah, similar, you know, just practicing going through our stuff, preparing the best way we can so we can find
00:11out who we're playing.
00:14Who wants that on?
00:16Go ahead.
00:17OJ, just got to hit that button on here.
00:22Oh.
00:28We got the news yesterday about Mitch.
00:30Just how important is he to what you do and what you guys will be facing with?
00:35I mean, yeah, Mitch is very important.
00:37He's an amazing player.
00:38Oh, nice line on.
00:46I heard you got it.
00:49You were saying about Mitch.
00:51Sorry.
00:53Mitch is very important to us.
00:55I mean, amazing player.
00:57It's unfortunate what happened.
00:59But I'm sure we just take it day by day now.
01:02You guys in past playoffs have endured some tough injury luck, but have come through this pretty well.
01:06And it sounds like Mitch might be able to be there.
01:09Just kind of how fortunate and how much work has that taken to be where you guys are now healthy?
01:16Oh, yeah.
01:16I mean, very fortunate.
01:17I mean, no one wants to have any setback.
01:19I mean, any team in the playoffs doesn't want to have any setbacks.
01:22So we've been pretty fortunate.
01:24Had this come up.
01:25Just take it day by day, figure it out.
01:27What the hell?
01:30All right.
01:31Let's go.
01:31I don't know.
01:33OG, do you...
01:39Sorry.
01:40It's right there.
01:41OG, do you, at this point, do you take the time to, like, study them on San Antonio and OKC?
01:48Or do you not waste your time yet just because you don't know?
01:50Yeah.
01:50I mean, especially, like, when they're playing.
01:52Watching both teams.
01:53Noticing stuff.
01:55Making note of it.
01:56And just seeing what goes on.
01:58What transpires.
01:59And who wins the game.
02:00Or in the series.
02:02Going back to Mitch a little bit.
02:03How comfortable are you when you guys go small ball and then kind of play the side?
02:07How much do you like that?
02:07Or how comfortable are you doing?
02:09I mean, to do whatever.
02:10To win.
02:10And I think anyone would do whatever to win.
02:12Especially, like, at this point.
02:13Whatever it takes to win.
02:15Before you came here, you were in the same division as the Knicks.
02:19How did you kind of notice how they were getting built up through the years, maybe?
02:22The moves they were making.
02:23Did you sort of see progression before you got here?
02:27And what have they come down?
02:28Yeah, definitely progression, you know.
02:30I don't know what year it was.
02:31Maybe my fourth year, third year, fourth year.
02:34Jules went to the Knicks.
02:35And then Tibbs was hired.
02:36And then he dropped to Mitch.
02:38RJ, Quick.
02:39These guys are coming every year.
02:41Getting better and better.
02:43Jalen came.
02:44Josh came.
02:44Dante, Isaiah.
02:45Like, just each year, progression.
02:48You know.
02:48Notice it from afar.
02:49And even since I came back, it's been the same thing.
02:51Getting better and better each year.
02:53OG, like, a very specific, fundamental question.
02:57When you're defending the drive, you see a lot of really good defenders do it,
03:01where they kind of have their hands, their inside hand on, like, the opposite hip to avoid fouling.
03:09How do you drill that and get good at that?
03:12What?
03:13I don't know.
03:14Maybe just, it just depends who you're guarding.
03:17And knowing their tendency and knowing if they like, you know, some dudes like to rip through.
03:21And some dudes are trying to draw fouls.
03:23Or some dudes don't do that.
03:25Or they won't come fade.
03:26Or just shoot.
03:27So just knowing who you're guarding.
03:29And then it's trial and error.
03:30Just seeing what works.
03:32Each position is different.
03:34Is the purpose of that to make sure that your hand is mapped so they don't get the rip through?
03:40Or is it almost a reminder to yourself to not extend that?
03:45Yeah.
03:45Not extend.
03:45Not get your hands in there.
03:46Not just do it.
03:48Yeah.
03:48Cheap fouls.
03:49Especially early on.
03:50As the game goes on, you're more aggressive.
03:53Depending on whether you're in the bonus or not.
03:54But just reading the situation.
03:57OG, you guys have become a really good momentum team in terms of just the game-altering runs
04:01and you're going on some of those crazy stretches.
04:03What do you think makes you guys a good momentum team?
04:05And how difficult is it to do that on the stage in the postseason?
04:10I think just, maybe just it's infectious, you know.
04:13People are making shots.
04:14The ball's moving.
04:15Some of the ball's going in consecutively.
04:18You're getting stops.
04:19Getting steals.
04:20Turnovers.
04:20Runouts.
04:21I think everything is just, just, it adds up, you know.
04:26Alright, we'll do two more here.
04:27OG, obviously you've been there before with Toronto.
04:30I don't know if you were hurt.
04:31What was that experience like?
04:33Yeah, I mean, it was still a cool experience, you know.
04:36We're a very close team.
04:38And it was a very talented team.
04:41I learned a lot from watching.
04:42I had a lot of great teammates.
04:45And it was really a cool experience, you know, winning that.
04:48What's your level of excitement?
04:50Obviously this is different now.
04:52What's your level of excitement just to get there?
04:54Oh yeah, I mean, super, like super high.
04:58I was younger back then.
04:59So, you know, I didn't realize how hard it takes to get back.
05:04Because the first couple years we were always winning 60 games.
05:07So getting back is amazing.
05:10Takes a lot and I'm really excited.
05:12Alright, last one here.
05:13You guys have those screens in the practice facility that show, I guess, where the ball bounces off the rim.
05:18How much do you pay attention to analytics as part of just how you approach your game?
05:23I pay attention to it, for sure.
05:25I mean, the machine is great.
05:27I think it's a very useful tool.
05:29But then I also, in the game, they don't have that.
05:32So, also just focusing on making the shot.
05:37Aside from just that in particular, I mean, like analytics for like where you're shooting the ball on the floor.
05:41Or just any of that stuff.
05:42Do you subscribe to, you know, lead it heavily on the numbers?
05:46Or is it more so just based on feel?
05:48It's feel, but I mean, I think both should be a part of the equation.
05:52Both are important.
05:52I've been watching some more videos before then.
05:53Or is there?
05:56Near, there's a whole bunch of options.
