00:00where they want the thunder because they want to go through the road
00:04that makes this championship more epic.
00:07It's the proverbial, you got to beat the best to be the best.
00:10And there's a lot of people, and we're not one of them,
00:13and I'm a Knick hater, but I don't say this because I think it's utter BS.
00:16There are a lot of haters out there who are telling Knick fans,
00:19your run's not impressive.
00:21You've had the easiest run to an NBA finals, maybe of all time,
00:25and they degrade who you beat.
00:27They degrade Atlanta, they degrade Philadelphia, they degrade Cleveland.
00:31You had home court the entire time.
00:33It was an easy road.
00:35I mean, it kind of was, but whatever.
00:38If you play San Antonio, those haters are going to continue that rhetoric
00:43because they're going to tell you the Spurs were in the lottery a year ago,
00:47they were incredibly young, they weren't ready, you never had to beat a one seed.
00:52And so I think there are some Knick fans who look at the Thunder and say,
00:57while they're the tougher competition, I'm so confident in my team.
01:01I want this championship to stick.
01:03I don't want to deal with the losers who are going to criticize this.
01:07Now, I'm on your side because I think if you win a world championship,
01:10I don't give a damn who you beat.
01:12I don't care how you beat them.
01:13I don't care who gets hurt.
01:14But there is a sentiment of Knick fans who would probably look at the Thunder
01:19and say, that validifies everything we did because you can't denounce our run
01:24if we go through the defending NBA champions who dominated the regular season.
01:28Yeah, so that's who you should want, but it's also the harder route to get through.
01:32Which is why you shouldn't want them.
01:34Exactly.
01:35That's my...
