Huge hailstones pounded a residential neighbourhood in Springfield, Missouri, as a severe storm swept through the area.
James Kratzer, from Springfield, Missouri filmed the footage from his front porch showing large chunks of hail crashing down onto the garden, driveway and road, quickly covering the ground in a layer of ice.
The storm can be seen lashing a nearby home and parked car, while trees and plants are battered by heavy rain and strong winds.
At one point, the camera pans across the street where the road and grass have been turned white by the relentless hail.
