The body of Mary Phagan, murdered and held at the Bloomfield morgue since she was found strangled Sunday morning, will be taken to Marietta tomorrow at 8:35 a.m. on the Western and Atlantic Railroad. Funeral services are scheduled for noon, and after the service she will be laid to rest in the family plot at Marietta Cemetery.

Her stepfather, W J Coleman, and her sister, Miss Ollie Phagan, will accompany the body on the train. Her mother, Mrs W J Coleman, may go as well if her strength allows, but she has been bedridden since her daughter’s death, and doctors are not expected to permit her to attend.

Dr J W Hurt performed an autopsy late this afternoon, carefully examining the remains for any new evidence, but he has said he will not release his findings until the Coroner’s jury meets Wednesday morning.
