00:10Just watch. And two days later, President Trump wrote, quote, a whole civilization will die
00:16tonight, never to be brought back again. I don't want that to happen, but it probably will.
00:21My office's phones have been ringing off the hook. I've heard from so many military families
00:26concerned about the president's mental fitness and whether he's fit to serve as our commander-in-chief,
00:31given that he's sending their loved ones into harm's way. Our troops who have shown incredible
00:36bravery and tactical proficiency deserve to know that their leaders are focused and stable.
00:42So, Mr. Secretary, you are with the president a lot, and it pains me to even have to ask this
00:48about our president, but my constituents' lives are at stake. Do you believe that the president
00:54is mentally stable enough to be the commander-in-chief?
00:58Did you ask the same question of Joe Biden for four years?
01:01Mr. Secretary, Joe Biden is not the president. Mr. Trump has been president for a year and a half,
01:06and I'm asking you right now.
01:07You did not, and I won't even engage with the level of disparagement that you're putting
01:10on the commander-in-chief, who indeed is, I mean, every, I mean, meeting him every single day.
01:16Mr. Secretary, Mr. Secretary, Biden is not the president.
01:18He's the sharpest, most insightful commander-in-chief we've had in generations,
01:21and you want to compare, I mean, you want to ask that question after you and your fellow Democrats
01:25defended Joe Biden, who could barely speak and didn't know what day of the week it was?

02:25How did you explain to your constituents what happened on October 6th or what happened in
02:30Afghanistan or what happened with the debacle and the withdrawal in Afghanistan where the
02:34troops were left?
02:35How did you explain that to Joe Biden's leadership?
02:36Mr. Secretary, I'm not asking you about the previous administration.
02:38How did you explain that to the Marines that didn't get medals, that we restored their
02:40medals because of that disastrous withdrawal in Afghanistan?
02:42Did you explain that to your constituents when Joe Biden was asleep at the wheel and he
02:46had an AWOL secretary of defense?

03:39It wasn't important to you during Joe Biden.
03:41I'll remind you that when there were concerns, Democrats came together and he was not our nominee
03:47for president.
03:47So, I encourage you to do have the same courage that Democrats had.
03:51Mr. Secretary, you keep saying that he is the best commander-in-chief we've ever had,
03:56the best negotiator.
03:57Talk to the troops.
03:5813 American troops have died.
04:00More than 380 have been wounded.
04:02The Strait of Hormuz, which was wide open, is now closed.
04:06Less than 90% of traffic through the Strait is still not going despite the ceasefire.
04:11The Iranian regime is still in power.
04:13It still has nuclear material.
04:15The war is costing Americans billions of dollars.
04:18And, Mr. Secretary, if you think that this is what winning looks like, then maybe we should
04:22be questioning your mental stability.
04:25Maybe you are the one responsible for this failure and the president should think about replacing
04:28you.
