00:00Baby, dance slowly, slowly, baby, dance slowly, slowly.
00:05Such a groove.
00:09Hey, Vogue, this is Priyanka.
00:12And here's what's in my bag.
00:13So, obviously, my phone, which is decorated by my daughter.
00:18Those are all her stickers.
00:19My daughter's going through this phase of being fancy.
00:23She wanted to make my phone a little fancier because it clearly wasn't.
00:26I don't post every second, but, yes, I do post a lot of thirst wraps of my husband.
00:31But, you know, he's just sitting there looking like that.
00:33You can't help it.
00:35It's like snack.
00:38Okay, and then let's see what else.
00:40Phone is important.
00:41Oh, you should see this because I fly a lot.
00:44So, I do most of my shopping on duty-free.
00:47And I fly Emirates a lot.
00:49So, air duty-free is awesome.
00:51So, this is, like, such a practical, awesome thing to put your sunglasses in.
00:55And I always have multiple pairs of sunglasses, so I never lose them.
00:58They go on your bag and, you know, you just take off your sunglasses.
01:02They don't get hurt and you can always see them.
01:05Perfect.
01:06So, practical.
01:06Next item, the book that I'm currently reading.
01:08So, this is the new Brene Brown book, which my cousin Irfan gave me for, I think, Christmas.
01:14But it's a great, like, starting your year, you know, thinking about leadership of the paradoxes of the world
01:21and kind of think forward.
01:23So, I try to get at least five to eight pages in during the day at some point, especially before
01:29I go to sleep.
01:30Like, I try to put away the screen before I go to sleep.
01:33These are all my New Year's resolutions.
01:36Who knows how long they'll last.
01:37And I am not one to make doggy ears in my books.
01:40So, always have a bookmark for all those people reading out there.
01:45It's just a decent thing to do.
01:46Okay, then this is my little journal, Tiny Hopes and Dreams.
01:51So, whenever I get a chance, I try to write, like, thoughts.
01:55Let me see.
01:57Flying from Mara to Naivasha, Kenya.
02:00Kind of anxious.
02:02We have an early morning shoot.
02:04I'm looking around.
02:05So beautiful.
02:06I'm grateful.
02:07Everything happens in its own time.
02:10That's all I can read for you.
02:12That really got me feeling very exposed.
02:15Oh, that's crazy.
02:17Moving on to other things.
02:18Oh, this was a really good Emirates buy as well.
02:21But I always like to have, like, a speaker.
02:23This is duty-free too.
02:25But this is a little portable speaker.
02:26And it's so loud.
02:28Let's see if I can connect it.
02:34Oh, I know what you could clear.
02:41It's loud, isn't it?
02:42I love having a portable speaker because I love listening to music.
02:46And so she fits in my bag, which is great.
02:50Every girl needs her lipstick.
02:54So the shade of the day is English Rose.
02:58And this is my trusted Max Factor.
03:00My one big secret for traveling is hydration.
03:03I travel, like, crazy hours.
03:05So my flights are minimum 16 hours.
03:08So it's really important to hydrate.
03:09Like, crush a couple of bottles of water before you go to sleep on your flight.
03:13I also do this.
03:16There's, like, hydration electrolytes, tablets, which are effervescent, which always really help.
03:22Great for your immunity too.
03:23But, like, if you're feeling good from the inside, I feel like when you land, you look your best.
03:28And I usually always land into work.
03:30So hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
03:32This is my Indian driver's license.
03:34I shouldn't be trusted on the roads.
03:38On camera, I can do, like, stunts in my car.
03:40I can do, like, 180 degree circles.
03:43I've gone down a staircase in a car.
03:46But haven't driven to a place myself for a few years.
03:51I just drove 10 days ago on camera.
03:54Just driving around the Sony lot, filming.
03:56But that's my driver's license.
03:59Okay, God, what else do I have in here?
04:02This was a Danessa Myrick's balm that my makeup artist, Morgan Martini, used on me for the Golden Globes recently.
04:10And I am obsessed with it.
04:12Especially if I'm not in makeup, then it's all over my face or my hands.
04:17I love it so much.
04:18It's amazing and so moisturizing.
04:21It's a mom bag.
04:22I have, like, so much stuff in here.
04:24My Tide Pen.
04:25My trusted Tide Pen.
04:27Because I cannot be trusted with couture, which I am in all the time.
04:31So before anybody sees that I have a stain, like, I go in for it myself.
04:35Shh, don't tell everyone.
04:38I stained the Golden Globes after-party dress that I was wearing.
04:42Because I had pizza in it.
04:44I was like, pizza on Dior!
04:47But it was fine.
04:49My daughter made this.
04:50It goes with me everywhere.
04:52It's my lucky charm.
04:53It's a spider.
04:54And, like, I love messing with it and playing with it.
04:57It's kind of therapeutic.
04:58She had a similar sort of octopus toy when she was in the NICU that I kept for many, many
05:04years.
05:05And this replaced that one.
05:06If she didn't have to go to school, she would be everywhere with me.
05:10Like, I hate that, ah, kids grow and then they have to, like, go to school and have a schedule.
05:16How inconvenient.
05:18I would just put her in here and take her with me.
05:20Perfume.
05:21Crucial.
05:22Very important.
05:23Perfume is a big part of my process as well, even at work.
05:26I try to have a different scent for each character that I play.
05:30Because I feel like all factory senses just kind of bring you back to memories.
05:36And it helps me remember my character.
05:37But it's like, I also love smelling good.
05:39And when I'm usually on, like, a movie set or something or in a packed space, you know, just a
05:45little scent brings you back to your center.
05:48Whenever I'm in the car, whenever I'm traveling, I always have my trusted eye mask.
05:53Mamas need eye masks.
05:55You know.
05:55Last night, I had this big face mask on my face while we were having dinner.
06:00And she just kept looking at me.
06:01She's like, why do you need to do that, Mama?
06:03I said, because I want skin as soft as you.
06:06And I took the white one off and then I had a black one on this morning when I was
06:09coming to work.
06:09And she was like, again, Mama, how many times do you have to do this?
06:13I was like, girl, when you're in your 40s, you will see.
06:17But yeah, so crucial.
06:19Again, just for doing the best you can.
06:22Okay, this is my pawpaw.
06:24It's from Australia.
06:25I use it for lip balm, for, like, skin, cuticles, whatever.
06:29I filmed The Bluff, a movie that just came out in Australia, in the Gold Coast.
06:34It was amazing.
06:35Nick visited.
06:36He was on tour.
06:37I was there for three months, but Malti came with me.
06:39My mom came with me.
06:40I do love action.
06:43I think I'm good at it.
06:44I've done it for many years.
06:46I think that, you know, it's a privilege to be able to be in the profession.
06:49And whatever part you give me, I'll try to do it well.
06:52But it's really cool to kick ass.
06:55That's fun.
06:56Um, oh, I just shot in Kenya, in Masai Mara.
06:59And the Masai people there at our hotel, they gave me this as a friendship bracelet to kind of protect
07:07me.
07:07In India, we have black.
07:09Oh, I'm not wearing it because I was at a shoot.
07:11Like, this is a Nazarbattu, which is like an evil eye bracelet.
07:16You wear like a little black thread.
07:18In India, we believe in it just keeps the evil away.
07:21I just like wearing them together, I think, you know, the more you can do to protect yourself, why not?
07:27I'll always get something local as a present for my daughter.
07:31So she has a part of that with her as well.
07:34So her nursery has like a lot of cool, fun, international toys.
07:38That's my wallet.
07:40She's fat because I still carry cash.
07:43If we are getting intimate, let's just do it.
07:46This is one of the first pictures of my husband and I.
07:47But I always, the physical version of it that he took, which I carry with me.
07:52Must be 2018, I think.
07:55The year we first started dating and got married.
07:59It was a lazy Sunday morning and it was just us.
08:03I can't even remember where it was, but I just love that moment where, you know, it's quiet, slow time.
08:09And it's just us.
08:11It's very nice.
08:12This is my Hanuman Chalisa, which is a prayer to Lord Hanuman.
08:16You're supposed to say it every day.
08:18I don't do it every day, but I try as much as I can.
08:22But I also feel like it protects me in all my travels.
08:25What else we got?
08:26So you always need something for your hair too.
08:28This is a friend of mine called Philip B.
08:29And he makes these amazing, smells really good.
08:34It gets my hair in place.
08:36See, scent is really important.
08:37So I have like skin, hair, makeup, perfume when you're out the door.
08:42Oh, these were supposed to be glasses.
08:44And there's another pair of sunglasses.
08:45See, I find them everywhere.
08:47Glasses, because I need them now.
08:49If I'm watching a movie, then I like wearing my glasses.
08:52So I keep them around just so that life is not out of focus.
08:57It's a little sharper.
08:59And then of course, you're trusting sunglasses because you always need them.
09:04Last things, trusted portable charger with label so that it doesn't get stolen in a busy household.
09:10I label everything.
09:12I label drawers.
09:13I label closets.
09:14I label everything.
09:15Because my husband, it'll go in his bag.
09:18My EpiPen.
09:21So glamorous.
09:22I just developed allergies this year, which I have been told now that I have to carry an EpiPen.
09:29So this is a new addition in my bag, but a crucial one.
09:32I can't tell you what I'm allergic to because then everyone will know how to kill me.
09:37Literally.
09:37I don't want that.
09:39I sit on this every day.
09:41This is my small chair.
09:43I'm into minimalism.
09:45It's tiny and we like it.
09:46Yeah, I took my inhaler out.
09:48I'm an asthmatic, but whatever.
09:50It's here.
09:56Thank you, Vogue.
09:57Thank you for looking into my bag and I'm glad it was clean today.
10:00Bye.
10:02Bye.
10:03Bye.
10:03Bye.
10:03Bye.
10:04Bye.
10:04Bye.
10:04Bye.
10:04Bye.
