00:00A Walsall Housing Association has apologised after residents at Humphreys House in Brown Hills
00:06were left without running water twice in recent weeks. Tenants, many of them elderly,
00:12said they could not flush toilets, wash, make drinks or receive some personal care
00:17during the outages. The supply was reported off from the early hours until 4 o'clock on April 13
00:24and again until before midday on April 23. Councillor Vera Waters says lessons must be
00:30learned urgently. The Housing Association Group, WHG, says the disruption was caused by an
00:36intermittent fault with the building's water pumps and a full investigation is now underway
00:41to establish what happened.
