NBI chief says case vs Sara on alleged threats vs Marcos depends on DOJ probe results  National Bureau of Investigation Director Melvin Matibag says they are awaiting the resolution of the Department of Justice's investigation regarding the alleged threats of Vice President Sara Duterte against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and two others before they can file a case against her.  Matibag issued the statement during the impeachment hearing against Duterte at the House on April 29, 2026.
