Sara asked to answer, deny grave threats charges

Former Bayan president Teddy Casiño and former ACT Teachers Party-list Rep. France Castro says the public is waiting for Vice President Sara Duterte to directly address and deny the alleged grave threats against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., first lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and former speaker Martin Romualdez—not the legal technicalities being raised by her defense team. The two made the remarks during an ambush interview with reporters on July 14, 2026, as the Senate impeachment court entered the fifth day of Duterte’s impeachment trial.
