00:36i'm taking the strohs plus one run in baltimore for game one of this series tonight within that game
00:43i got a player prop for you yanair diez oh boy over one and a half total bases for the
00:49catcher that
00:50doesn't mean i don't think vasquez should still be starting over yanair because that is the case
00:54but yanair has had a lot of success against the baltimore arm that is starting this game this
00:58evening oh my yanair this will let us know about your week yes it will i think that's very fair
01:05to say let us know about your week so those are your first two best bets for this astros game
01:09get
01:09them in now while you can third best bet tonight i got the brewers money line they are hosting the
01:15arizona diamondbacks up there in milwaukee got the odds at minus 115 for the brewers to win that one
01:20and then finally your fourth and last best bet on a tuesday i'm taking the mets sole pc creighton's
01:27mets minus a run as they host the washington nationals tonight up in new york those are your
01:33four best bets all right get them in at the astros you got about nine minutes eight minutes now before
01:39that gets kicked in there you go um yiner diaz tyler is definitely going because he does have a great
01:46uh
01:46great career against this starting pitcher tonight uh it is only eight at bat it's eight
01:53eight at bats but you're trusted uh that he's uh he's hit five uh 500 even a cool 500 in
02:00those eight
02:01at bats uh and uh and an ops over 1400 but i just would also throw out there his slash
02:07line currently
02:07is 215 238 329 slugging uh just playing devil's advocate right i just i just wanted to give all
02:15the information that's fair here that's fair so you got this is a real this is a real feel of
02:21past
02:22history or what this guy's doing right right now i'd like to know the last time he faced him that
02:28that
02:28would be if it's if it's a year and a half ago because that feels like that feels like what
02:34i started
02:35thinking that that we lost yiner in terms of his ability to hit the baseball consistently but
02:40yiner is shane baz's dad yeah listen we will see this one right here if you win this one that's
02:46the
02:47one to keep an eye on folks if you win that one this is going to be a hell of
02:50a week we're starting
02:51a heater he's getting hot he's getting hot right there hell yeah does that still count if it's the
02:56only one that you went on the evening does that would that still count that would suck no that
03:01probably wouldn't be the start of a heater go check it out at t mill uh real deal you still
03:06got
03:06about five minutes for that astro astros game starts to figure that out by the way i just want to
03:11let you know here in any moment if you hear me um in excitement or complete pure anger um the
03:19number
03:19one college basketball recruit coming into the season is going to make his decision uh in the next
03:25minute uh he will either go to kentucky you already know what he's doing i don't know i have not
03:30looked his family's here he's either going to kentucky kansas or oregon okay tyron stokes we'll
03:35see he's going to announce it on inside the nba right now at 5 30 um as soon as mike
03:41wilbon gets
03:42his old ass off the screen we'll figure out something here tyron's already there with his
03:45family um if he goes to kentucky
03:51very upset and not at him i'll be very upset about the booth family all of those people
03:58and lawrence who did not pony up the cash to get this done hold on so and also you know
04:05this as well
04:06as anybody also they will have to get rid of the adidas contract he's a nike guy that's the thing
04:14that's really scaring us here he he they will have to get rid of the adidas contract damn make a
04:21play jayhawks it's like the uh the old sad question sat question where one's not like the other i'm
04:28surprised oregon's in the mix yeah kansas kentucky get those and then oregon well he's a seattle kid
04:34okay yeah so it washington didn't make the list another nike school um but uh yeah yeah we'll see
04:40tyron stokes 6'8 uh so he's he's a uh he's a serious serious hooper all right um i will
04:48say this
04:48the texans before we uh before we move on the texans they have they have completely overhauled this
04:55offensive line luke and the best part about it and what i can respect i listen i think there should
05:01have been maybe some better some bigger shots taken i you know i wish that maybe they got
05:06aggressive and and went out and made some bigger plays especially at the center position we'll see
05:13what the keelan rutledge kid does if he is able to go there but if you look at what they
05:18have done
05:19all the guys they have added luke from brayden smith to wyatt teller ed ingram keelan rutledge uh
05:26bringing back trent brown evan brown and evan brown for the position he's going to play makes sense
05:31all the guys they have added one and we sat here last year looking at this one
05:40these are bona fide all right we're going to try to actually spend money and resources to go get guys
05:49to fix this all the way through they gave real money to these guys and then move up in the
05:55draft
05:55to get uh to get um to get a guy in keelan rutledge to fit where they want to do
06:02and these guys all
06:04luke fit exactly what they're looking to do looking to be and that is a smash mouth run the football
06:14physical they are trying to mirror what their defense is on the on the offensive side of the ball
06:20um and uh and i think they have added the guys in now we'll see what this means and and
06:25i'm certain
06:26there are other questions that roll through but with cole popovich and company they have added and they
06:31have transformed this offensive line to look exactly and be exactly what they want to be and i give them
06:38credit they did it in an off season and now we'll see what happens now it's about evaluation but they
06:43they sought out what they wanted to be and then executed that by bringing in players that fit that
06:48yeah yep so now you know they followed their plan they have what they want and now you got to
06:53go out
06:53there and have success but as we've been talking throughout the afternoon you know they're designed
06:58to win that certain way uh it was my concern at the time with the rockets where i thought they
07:03were
07:03leaning too much into the size and this double big lineup that you know i thought they still needed more
07:09help out on the perimeter and so for the texans similar in the sense of like you're leaning so
07:14much into the run blocking and running the football and physical smash mouth football but
07:18you also have to be able to do some of the other stuff and be able to protect in the
07:22pocket and drop
07:22back and and have a uh a potent passing attack and and be able to play from behind and come
07:29back and
07:29win a game and throw downfield all those sorts of things because actually you look at last year
07:33you know the two teams that were in the super bowl seahawks and the patriots they were both top two
07:38and
07:38yards after the catch and then the rams are number three and they were you know in the uh in
07:43the
07:44final four of last year's postseason so it might be cause or correlation one of the two i don't know
07:49but but that was a big thing last year for these teams that were successful was getting the ball in
07:53their playmakers hands and open space through the air and allow them to to go get yards but this
07:59offensive line is is one that's going to have to be a dual threat so to speak offensively and i'll
08:04also
08:04say i mean i was just trying to google it i don't know if a team has ever won a
08:08super bowl with a
08:09rookie starting at center i might be missing an obvious example but that seems like asking a lot
08:13too to bring in this kid plant's very very concerned about that okay yeah i think rightfully so with a
08:19combination of um with a combination of cj stroud and where he was with the offense last year
08:30putting a rookie center i think i don't think maybe creed humphrey's close maybe they got to
08:38the afc title game and lost i think he wanted in year two as a as a second year center
08:44that's the
08:45most recent center that i can remember that was a rookie that that made deep runs but no yeah that's
08:53that is concerning but i mean to the point though they they they got what they're looking for and i
08:59do agree with you about the dual part of it like what what are that's my that's my question that
09:05i'm
09:05really intrigued to see and i think it's going to be the big thing for this offensive line i do
09:10think
09:10they're going to run the football i think they're going to be committed to and i think they got guys
09:14that are going to be able to be good to run the football for me i i do wonder what
09:18this looks like
09:20as you're talking about dual what's this look like when they got to pass the ball and everybody
09:24in the house knows they got to pass the ball are they going to be able to protect because if
09:29you go
09:29and do a lot of um scouting on and and what scouts and what people say about these players all
09:36of these
09:36guys they brought in their strengths and their weaknesses a lot of the guys on the offensive line
09:42that they brought in are major strengths or physicality in the run game and then potentially
09:50weaknesses or issues in pass pro that's that's where they've got to have improvement and a lot
09:58of those guys i know that's ed ingram that's brayden smith a lot of those guys that fits that fits
10:04them
10:04so that's going to be the thing to watch is what do they have to do and maybe they're not
10:09in that
10:09situation as much with their defense maybe that their defense helps it that the score will never
10:14take them in a space where they cannot where they have to stop running the football and playing the
10:19way they want to play but that is that's going to be the next step to see what happens what
10:24happens
10:24when teams know they got to throw the ball how how is this group able to protect that'll that'll be
10:29a
10:29big thing for sure by the way according to ai only one team has ever won a super ball when
10:35a center
10:35has started every game regular c of rookie center has started every game regular season postseason
10:41uh going on to win the super bowl
10:42uh going on to win the super bowl
