POLAR BEAR APPROACHES CAMP AND TRIES TO DAMAGE BOAT IN ARCTIC ENCOUNTER

Watch as a young polar bear wanders close to a camp and begins investigating a boat in a remote Arctic area.
Cody Meszaniec, a remote camp worker, captured the tense moment in Nunavut, Canada. The video shows the large bear approaching from the icy landscape before turning its attention to a nearby boat.
Curious and playful, the animal begins roughing up the vessel, pushing and pawing at it. As the situation escalates, a warning shot is fired to scare the bear away.
The bear eventually retreats, bringing the close encounter to an end.
The clip was shared online and Cody Meszaniec said: "Young male polar bear comes in from the sea ice for a visit . decides to rough up a boat and than is given a warning shot by a local."
