Footage has surfaced of a polar bear showing off its brilliant sense of its surroundings.
The bear in question is seen slowly crawling on ice instead of walking like bears normally do. This action can be attributed to the fact that ice is thin and not as puffy as snow-covered ground.
Upon safely reaching the snowy part of the surface, the gentle beast ditches crawling for walking.
"This was taken during a cruise trip to Alaska with 'Ponant,'" the filmer, Emma Postolec said. "On our way, we witnessed this unique moment. Looks like the polar bear was splitting its weight."
