00:00Okay guys, I need to show you this quickly. One of the schools in my neighborhood experienced
00:04student test result disorganization. I'm not going to go to the details on how that happened,
00:08but the objective is to identify the disparity between this table and this table. Here's how
00:13you can do it quickly. First, you're going to highlight one of the table, and after that go
00:16to home style, conditional formatting, new rule. In here, I'm going to select use formula, and the
00:21formula is equal. This cell here, press F for three times to make the row and column independent,
00:26and then say not equal to this cell here, and press F for three times to make the row and
00:32column independent. Now, you're going to go format, and then make sure you're on the fill tab,
00:35and select the color that you want to highlight the cell with. Click OK, and OK. Now, any cells
00:41that does not match between the two tables are highlighted in red on the second table. On the
00:45flip side, if you want to look for similar values, all you have to do is to change the formula
00:49on
00:49your conditional formatting like this, and then you're done.
