00:00A sex offender has been jailed after he admitted sexually assaulting a young girl in Kirklees.
00:0642-year-old Andrew Garbert, also known as Samuel Little, and who is from the Bridlington area,
00:12was sentenced at Leeds Crown Court after admitting four sexual offences. He was given an extended
00:18sentence of 11 years and three months for one count of sexual assault on a child between May
00:25and August 2023. Two counts of possession of indecent photos of a child and one count of
00:31voyeurism. He was also made to sign the Sex Offenders Register. The Kirklees Child Safeguarding Unit
00:37commended the bravery of the young victim and her family in coming forwards to report his offending.
