00:00Red Sox tonight take on the Toronto Blue Jays as they begin a series in Canada.
00:04Dylan Cease starts tonight for the Jays.
00:06So naturally, that makes them a pretty significant favorite
00:09because Cease is just striking everybody out in the world.
00:12Total is seven.
00:14Suarez certainly can fight, I think, with Cease tonight.
00:16The Red Sox are on a little mini-roll here.
00:19But when you look at Toronto's schedule with all the injuries they have
00:22and they're still throwing Scherzer out there,
00:23it's really hard to say, yes, I feel good about them winning.
00:26But tonight would be one of those nights.
00:28Yeah, right now, Dylan Cease, I think, is pitching one of the most talented pitchers on the planet.
00:33I think Skeen's obviously being what he's been since that first start.
00:37It puts him in that territory always.
00:39And then, of course, with Scooble being Scooble.
00:41But there's a world where Dylan Cease strikes out 275 guys this year, maybe more.
00:48You never know.
00:49We could see one of those just vintage Verlander type of seasons from Dylan Cease.
00:53And I think with the way he's thrown right now,
00:55it's been a big reason why him and Kevin Gossman, why the Blue Jays have been able to stay afloat
01:00here.
01:00I think anytime Dylan Cease is on the mound, it makes sense that they're a heavy favorite here.
01:05And I know Rangers been looking a little bit more solid, but I don't know.
01:10He just seems like he's very hit or miss right now.
01:12And I think the Blue Jays are starting to play a little bit of better ball
01:15and starting to piece together some better at-bats, too.
01:18Real quick, Yankees-Rangers, Max Freed, who's been fantastic for New York.
01:23The whole pitching staff has been great.
01:25Goes up against Jack Leiter.
01:26And there's always a little extra juice when the Yankees come to town.
01:29So I don't think that Texas is going to lay down in this series.
01:32But what do you make of tonight's game?
01:34Yeah, bounce-back opportunity for Leiter, who came out of the gate pretty hot,
01:37but has been struggling a bit of late.
01:39And I think the way that the Yankees are playing right now,
01:42I mean, they are red, red-hot.
01:44Jazz Chisholm's getting going.
01:45As you mentioned, Freed throwing the ball really well.
01:47And this Rangers offense just continues to struggle.
01:49The Yankees are obviously heavy favorites.
01:51I think it's going to be hard.
01:52When you're struggling and you've got to run into a Max Freed type of pitcher,
01:55I think those games start to go really fast for you offensively,
01:58and you blink, and it's the sixth.
01:59I think it's going to be hard for the Rangers' bats to get going.
