00:03We welcome you to WrestleMania!
00:07WrestleMania is WWE Super Bowl.
00:09Year after year, superstars looked up the ante at the show of shows.
00:13Oh my gosh!
00:15Bringing nonstop excitement again and again.
00:18Damn!
00:19And Mayweather wins the match!
00:23And audiences were certainly not prepared for the breathtaking moments WWE would deliver
00:28as they entered the new millennium.
00:31Oh my God!
00:32Today, we look back at some of the greatest WrestleMania matches of the 2000s.
00:36I cannot believe what we've just seen!
00:38This is WWE's Greatest Moments.
00:45He's your son, man!
00:47Oh my God, what the hell are you doing?
00:51Absolutely unbelievable!
00:53Oh my baby, here's the year.
01:01Welcome, everyone, to WWE's Greatest Moments.
01:05I'm Michael Cole, and on this edition, we're looking back at WrestleMania matches
01:09from one of the most consequential decades in WWE history, the 2000s.
01:14As WWE was heading into the new millennium, two of its grandest stars would lead the charge.
01:21Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock.
01:25I got one reason and one reason only to go inside that ring, and that is to beat Stone Cold
01:29Steve Austin.
01:30It's just that simple.
01:31I need to beat you, Rock.
01:33I need it more than anything that you can ever imagine.
01:37Over 67,000 passionate fans would fill the Houston Astrodome at WrestleMania 17 to witness this iconic matchup.
01:46There can be only one.
01:50This J.R. is the main event.
01:54The atmosphere in the arena at WrestleMania 17 was through the roof.
01:59It was important to me that I was the one leading the pack.
02:06And Steve Austin sure as hell didn't want to be second.
02:10There was no stir down.
02:12There was no trash talking.
02:14These two just got it on in the most personal of title matches that I have ever witnessed.
02:21It was the two biggest and best colliding again.
02:27The people hanging on every single move, waiting to see who was going to win this match because it was
02:33damn near 50-50 throughout the whole thing.
02:38What the hell is this about?
02:53Not only do you become world champion, now you align yourself with the company's top heel.
02:59Stone Cold Steve Austin has sold his soul.
03:04I know you perform to the highest level and you deliver.
03:06It's a great feeling.
03:08What a contest!
03:12In March of 2004, WWE celebrated the 20-year anniversary of WrestleMania.
03:18No better way to cap it off than with a WWE Championship match for the ages.
03:24Newly crowned WWE Champion, Latino Heat, Eddie Guerrero, and the Olympic gold medalist, Kurt Angle.
03:31Two of the greatest in-ring competitors at that time.
03:34I am the WWE Champion!
03:39And I'll be proud to take it from you.
03:45So ladies and gentlemen, for the 20th time, the WWE title is being defended at WrestleMania.
03:53WrestleMania 20.
03:54I got to wrestle Kurt Angle.
03:57What an honor.
03:59Oh!
03:59Shoulder knocked down by the champion.
04:03Oh, and another one!
04:03Eddie Guerrero, in his prime, was the greatest wrestler of all time, period.
04:08Eddie Guerrero!
04:10Flash connects!
04:11He's got it!
04:13He's got it!
04:13He's got it!
04:14He's got it!
04:15When I did wrestle Eddie, the matches were five-star.
04:19He was so polished.
04:20Yo!
04:21Eddie and I, we connected.
04:24We understood each other.
04:25Eddie was the most passionate guy I've ever been in a ring with.
04:28He's got it!
04:32He's got it!
04:32He's got it!
04:33He's got it!
04:35He's got it!
04:36He's got it!
04:36He's got it!
04:36One, two, three!
04:37Oh!
04:38Eddie wins!
04:38Eddie wins!
04:39Eddie wins!
04:40But that's the win!
04:42That's it!
04:44Special moment that I'm going to hold in my life, because you never know what's going
04:48to happen to me.
04:50Eddie Guerrero outsmarted Kurt Angle!
04:53Tremendous matchup!
04:56In the early 2000s, Trish Stratus was on top of the wrestling world.
05:00But awaiting her was a rivalry unlike anything the WWE Universe had ever seen before.
05:06Hi!
05:07Oh my God, I'm Mickie James.
05:09Hi!
05:09I'm Raw's newest diva.
05:10Newly debuting superstar Mickie James was a self-proclaimed Trish Stratus superfan.
05:16But her obsession became too much for the queen of Stratus faction to handle.
05:20You and I, we just need some time apart, alright?
05:24He's a little overzealous sometimes with her passion.
05:27When her idol rejected her, James was absolutely furious.
05:30They love me now!
05:32In a rage fueled a confrontation between them that culminated with a show of shows.
05:37WrestleMania 22.
05:41The following contest is for the WWE Women's Championship.
05:47Superfan that becomes the worst enemy.
05:50And at WrestleMania, it came to fruition.
05:53Piers has been in the ring with the greatest competitors in the WWE, but no one as unpredictable as Mickie
06:01James.
06:02It was real emotion.
06:03People really felt one way or the other.
06:05To the point where some people were cheering me, which was, what is happening here?
06:09A lot of these fans are actually identifying with Mickie James.
06:13That's the only reason I bought that Mania that year.
06:15As a young boy wanting to see the culmination of this wrestling story between these two women, I feel like
06:23that's a great thing in the evolution of women's wrestling.
06:26Oh! Mickie James may be the new champ!
06:30Will it be enough?
06:31Yes, it is!
06:32We've got a new champion!
06:34To have a WrestleMania moment, to have a WrestleMania match, we're pretty much at the highest point we've been for
06:40the women in our company.
06:42It's one of those matches that you look at and you go, wow.
06:44Like, let's go.
06:46Mickie James has won the women's title!
06:51The Dudleys, the Hardys, and Edge and Christian never disappointed the WWE Universe when pitted against each other.
06:58And when the stakes were raised, so was the energy.
07:01What the heck?!
07:02As these six superstars were set to compete in a triangle ladder match.
07:07With the tag team championships hanging high above the ring, the three hottest tag teams of the era would step
07:13foot on the grandest stage of them all.
07:15And what followed would alter the landscape of WWE forever.
07:23This should be an amazing offensive display!
07:27You can expect some high-risk maneuvers like we've never seen before!
07:31It's competitive.
07:32Everybody's pushing each other to have the best match of the night.
07:35Okay, we better tear it up.
07:37This is some unbelievable innovation with these three ladders now in the ring.
07:43The Hardys and Edge and Christian had already done the ladder match, so we wanted to introduce the other aspects
07:50using the tables.
07:52Dillon tables! Double carnage!
07:54We went out and beat the hell out of each other.
07:58All that stuff's so memorable because we were the first ones to do it.
08:01You've made it to WrestleMania, you gotta try to ride that wave wherever it takes you.
08:04Oh, for God's sakes, don't do it, Tim!
08:07It's a very insane risk versus reward scenario, but for the most part, there was no hesitation.
08:14Short-time foul! Top of the ladder! To the floor!
08:18We just continued to elevate standards for what that match could be.
08:23I think our legacy will have a lot to do with the ladder match.
08:25Matt Hardy! It's on!
08:28Oh! No!
08:29Ed pushed Matt right to the table!
08:31Edge and Christian! Edge and Christian! Edge and Christian have won it!
08:37Man, Six of Us just killed it. Like, we crushed that.
08:40And that, to me, was the first instance of understanding, like, okay, we are all a part of something that
08:47is important to the product now.
08:50Edge and Christian are the new Tag Team Champions!
08:55For over a decade and a half, The Undertaker was a dominant force.
08:59He'd achieved nearly everything a WWE superstar could ever dream of.
09:04In 2007, the Deadman would win his first Royal Rumble match.
09:09Undertaker is going to WrestleMania!
09:12It didn't take long for the Phenom to defiantly choose a shot at Batista's WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
09:20Batista, at WrestleMania, your reign as champion will rest in peace.
09:37This match is for the World Heavyweight Championship!
09:43WrestleMania always means a lot. To go into such a huge match, it ended up being really special because it's
09:49a world title match.
09:50We are about to see something that might get ugly, but we're about to watch one at the middle of
09:55a fight!
09:56There's a lot of pressure that comes with WrestleMania. It's big time. I mean, it is.
10:02Undertaker measuring the champion flying through the air with a 300-pounder!
10:07That is what WrestleMania is all about.
10:09I felt like I was doing things instinctively and without thought.
10:14I felt like I held my own with Undertaker when we gave the crowd the match of the night.
10:20Two great warriors going for all the gold. That's what it's all about!
10:26Undertaker! Look at this!
10:29Tombstone Pile Fiber! Wow! There's two! We have a new world champion!
10:37You have two guys that respect each other. They're at the top of their games. Can't ask for more than
10:42that.
10:4315-0 at WrestleMania!
10:48It was clear from day one that Randy Orton was a special talent, transforming from an eager rookie into a
10:55brash superstar.
10:57Orton quickly made a name for himself by targeting WWE legends, including the dead man, The Undertaker.
11:04At WrestleMania 21, the legend of The Undertaker will become a myth.
11:10Randy Orton will rest in peace!
11:21It is the legend versus the legend killer.
11:25Randy Orton, the legend killer, being in the ring with The Undertaker, that's huge.
11:31He's young, he's brash, he's arrogant, and he is good!
11:35Here I have this young guy who obviously is a huge star already.
11:41Oh my! Let's go through that!
11:43And it was out! And it was out!
11:45He stepped up and delivered, on the grandest stage of all.
11:48Here's the cover! And The Undertaker kicked out!
11:54He's going for the Tombstone!
11:55Oh no, what the hell! And Undertaker reversed it!
11:59And Undertaker reversed it!
12:0113-0! For The Undertaker!
12:04An amazing match right there.
12:07That was awesome.
12:112006 saw Rey Mysterio overcome every odd
12:15and win the Royal Rumble from the number two spot.
12:18Rey Mysterio is going to WrestleMania.
12:22Mysterio knew he only had one thing left to do,
12:26win the whole darn thing.
12:28I hope I make you even more proud
12:30when I go on to WrestleMania and win
12:33the World Heavyweight Championship.
12:38Rey was determined to win the world title
12:40in memory of his best friend, Eddie Guerrero,
12:43who passed away a few months prior.
12:45And to do so, the legendary Luchador
12:47was faced with a near-impossible task,
12:49taking on both Kurt Angle and Randy Orton
12:52in a triple threat match
12:53for the World Heavyweight Championship.
12:56It is one of the most emotional matches
12:59I've ever had the honor of calling.
13:04The following contest is a triple threat match
13:08scheduled for one fall,
13:09and it is for the World Heavyweight Championship.
13:14WrestleMania 22 was the peak of my career,
13:18and a tribute to Eddie,
13:21he saw me from the heavens.
13:48He had no idea who was going to win.
13:50and everyone was on the edge of their seats
13:52the whole entire time.
13:53Springboard!
13:55Wow!
13:56Go!
13:56One, two, three!
13:58He got him!
13:59He got him!
14:00He got him!
14:01Power wide!
14:02Mysterio wins the title!
14:04We're not here forever.
14:06You have to make the best out of each and every moment
14:08because you don't know if it's going to come back again.
14:13Eddie would have loved
14:15to have seen me as a champion.
14:17Dreams will indeed come true!
14:20Rey Mysterio is the World Heavyweight Champion!
14:28Arguably the greatest of all time,
14:30Ric Flair had an in-ring career
14:32that spanned over 30 years.
14:342008, the Nature Boy was reaching the end of the line
14:37as a WWE superstar.
14:39The first match you lose,
14:42your career is over.
14:44Flair was more resilient than ever,
14:46issuing a challenge to Shawn Michaels.
14:48It would be my honor
14:49to wrestle you at WrestleMania.
14:52One night,
14:53after being immortalized
14:54in the WWE Hall of Fame,
14:56Woo!
14:58Flair was face-to-face
14:59with Mr. WrestleMania.
15:04The time has come
15:05for the Nature Boy, Ric Flair,
15:07to put his career on the line
15:08against Shawn Michaels.
15:11The biggest moment
15:12in my wrestling career
15:14was Shawn and me in my retirement.
15:16Flair wanted to be in the ring
15:18with the best.
15:20Oh, good grief!
15:22Flair's got to capitalize here early.
15:26Michaels explodes
15:27for the floor!
15:28Given all the amazing things
15:31he had done in his career,
15:33it needed to be extra special.
15:35God's sakes!
15:37Flair's got the figure four!
15:39Michaels,
15:40twofold to the ropes!
15:42The showstopper
15:43hits for the elbow!
15:44Shawn was the perfect guy
15:45to do it.
15:46It's the emotion
15:47that he puts into things.
15:51Oh, my God!
15:52What a shot!
15:53That was just me
15:54sort of telling Ric,
15:56I think the world would be it.
15:57Michaels,
15:58will it be?
15:59Yes!
16:02Yes,
16:02and I love you.
16:04It's a great moment of wrestling.
16:06I don't care what it says.
16:07The greatest
16:07to ever lace
16:09a pair of boots.
16:14As the decades pass,
16:16WWE sees new faces
16:17that capture the attention
16:18of the WWE Universe
16:20and usher the company
16:21into new eras.
16:23In the early 2000s,
16:24The Rock was just that face.
16:26But the Brahma Bull
16:28wasn't the first
16:28to have the WWE Universe
16:30in the palm of his hand.
16:32That honor
16:33went to the immortal
16:34Hulk Hogan.
16:36The Hulkster
16:36had recently made
16:37that has returned to WWE
16:39as part of the villainous
16:40New World Order.
16:41How do you feel
16:42about headlining
16:43one more Wrestlemania
16:44with The Rock?
16:48Yes!
16:56And look at the flashballs.
16:59This is a Wrestlemania moment.
17:02That stare down
17:03with The Rock
17:04was magic.
17:05Once that happened,
17:06I knew
17:07I knew the match
17:08was going to work.
17:1060,000 plus fans
17:12at the Sky Dome
17:13going
17:15crazy.
17:17Oh!
17:18Oh, the power
17:19I'll hold it.
17:19I don't know, J.R.,
17:20if this is nostalgia
17:21or what,
17:22but it's amazing
17:23that the crowd
17:23is so subtly behind
17:25Hulk.
17:26I thought for sure
17:27they'd be booing me
17:28and throwing stuff at me
17:29and trying to get at me
17:29and kill me.
17:30These people
17:32love you more
17:33than you ever imagined
17:34they love you.
17:35The Rock, Hawk!
17:37My God,
17:38Hogan kicked out!
17:39Look at this!
17:40The Rock bottom!
17:41Is he going to
17:41hook up the arc?
17:43He is!
17:44Oh, and he's got it!
17:45The leg is hooked!
17:47Oh, my God!
17:48My God,
17:49The Rock kicked out!
17:50People were really
17:51just engrossed
17:53in the match
17:53like I've never seen before.
17:56Rock with people's elbow
17:57on Hogan!
17:59And The Rock wins it!
18:02What that meant
18:03to me,
18:05I'm grateful to
18:06Hulk.
18:08This match
18:08lived up to the heart.
18:10It didn't live up to it,
18:11it far surpassed it!
18:15It's now time
18:16for our number one moment,
18:17and it's the one
18:18that is widely considered
18:19the greatest
18:20WrestleMania match
18:21of all time.
18:22The Undertaker's
18:23undefeated streak
18:24at WrestleMania
18:24was one of the most
18:25impressive feats
18:26a superstar
18:27has ever achieved.
18:28The man has never
18:29lost at WrestleMania!
18:319-0!
18:32You can't stop!
18:3312-0!
18:3415-0!
18:36The greatest
18:37streak alive!
18:39At WrestleMania 25,
18:41the Deadman's challenger
18:42was none other
18:43than Mr. WrestleMania
18:45himself,
18:46Shawn Michaels.
18:47You may be 16-0
18:49at WrestleMania,
18:51but I am
18:52Mr. WrestleMania.
18:54HBK would attempt
18:55slaying the streak
18:56in a match that
18:57literally saw
18:58heaven and hell
18:59colliding.
19:04Can Michaels hang
19:05the first loss
19:06ever on The Undertaker?
19:08That's been the question
19:09on everyone's mind.
19:13It was kicked out!
19:15It was magic.
19:17The stars aligned.
19:18You just know
19:19when you're out there,
19:20like, we are killing this.
19:22Oh, and a kick out again!
19:23Impossible!
19:25Storytelling
19:26is what we do.
19:27Oh, my God!
19:28Oh, my God!
19:29It was just amazing
19:30that it happened
19:31on the grandest stage
19:33of all.
19:33And Undertaker's
19:34in the ring!
19:35The streak's alive!
19:36The end-all, be-all
19:38of doing this job
19:39is just creating
19:40a glimmer of doubt.
19:43There it is!
19:43Music again!
19:44Piss the streak
19:46of ice!
19:47And again!
19:49That's probably
19:50the greatest match
19:51I've ever seen.
19:54Michaels caught him
19:55in there!
19:56Hiddleston!
19:57He did it!
19:58He's a repeat
19:58at home!
20:01What an absolutely

21:43of the pinnacle
21:44of sports entertainment,
21:45WrestleManias.
21:47The 2010s
21:48were an incredible decade
21:49for the show of shows
21:51and showcased
21:52some of the greatest
21:52superstars
21:53in WWE history.
21:55However,
21:56when it comes
21:56to WrestleManias
21:57and mortality
21:58few can compare
21:59to the immortal
22:00Hulk Hogan.
22:01I'll never forget
22:02sitting ringside
22:03as the Hulkster
22:04returned to the stage
22:05he helped build
22:06to welcome
22:0760,000
22:09New Orleans fans
22:10in attendance.
22:11The millions
22:12watched it around
22:12the world
22:13to the historic
22:14WrestleMania 30
22:16at the Superdome.
22:23How upropos is it
22:24to have Hulkamania
22:25running wild
22:27in the Superdome?
22:29Well, let me tell you
22:30something, brother.
22:32Well, it was cool.
22:34I'd like to welcome
22:35everyone here
22:37at the Silverdome
22:38to WrestleMania 30.
22:40I was just so rattled
22:41I, you know,
22:42said the wrong name
22:43of the building.
22:44And tonight,
22:45there are definitely
22:46going to be
22:46more special
22:48WrestleMania moments.
22:50And you never know
22:51when one of those
22:52will be.
22:53The Texas Rattlestake!
22:56It is thunderous!
22:58Good to be back here
22:59at the Silverdome.
23:01Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
23:02Everybody I've ever
23:04met in this business
23:05has a great sense
23:05of humor.
23:06But it was a great
23:07spectacle and one
23:08that was highly
23:09entertaining.
23:09Hit this man!
23:11Oh, he's here!
23:12The Bravo Bull is here!
23:15The Rockstone
23:15called Steve Austin
23:16and the immortal
23:17Hulk Hogan
23:17have finally come back
23:19to the Superdome!
23:26That's the three
23:26biggest stars
23:28in the industry.
23:29The biggest stars
23:30that wrestling
23:31has ever made.
23:32was all amazing.
23:34The Mount Rushmore
23:35of sports entertainment
23:36has just come to life
23:38at WrestleMania 30.
23:40End of the day,
23:41whether it's
23:41the great era
23:42of the 80s,
23:43whether it's
23:44the attitude era,
23:45you want to look back
23:46in our business
23:47of professional wrestling.
23:48Our goal is just
23:49to entertain the fans.
23:51Probably the greatest
23:52WrestleMania moment
23:54in history.
23:57There's no superstar
23:58in WWE history
23:59quite like Kofi Kingston.
24:01He brings a level
24:02of precise skill,
24:04excitement,
24:04and fearlessness,
24:06the likes of which
24:06we've never seen.
24:07Whoa, look at this!
24:09Look at this!
24:10The fan favorite
24:11had been climbing
24:12the WWE mountain
24:13for over a decade,
24:14but was never able
24:15to reach the summit.
24:17Kofi went for it all!
24:18The world was behind
24:19Kofi Kingston,
24:21who gave it
24:22everything he had
24:23and then some.
24:24Kofi Kingston
24:25would finally get
24:26the chance of a lifetime
24:27to main event
24:28the grandest stage
24:29for the first time
24:31at WrestleMania 35.
24:33All I've ever wanted
24:34in this industry
24:35was a chance.
24:36And after 11
24:37long, hard-fought years,
24:39it's happening, baby!
24:47Gentlemen,
24:48the road has been long,
24:50but we are finally here!
24:52Ever since I was a kid,
24:53I had always pictured myself
24:55wrestling at WrestleMania
24:56for the WWE Championship.
24:58This is the biggest match
25:00of Kofi Kingston's career,
25:02and Daniel Bryan
25:03has every intention
25:04of spoiling it for him.
25:06Oh, my God!
25:08Kofi went off of the desk!
25:09There's the knee!
25:11Good night, Kofi!
25:14Kofi's still got life!
25:16Kofi earned his way
25:18toward that WrestleMania,
25:19and he put on
25:20a hell of a show for us.
25:22Kofi measuring the champion!
25:24Trouble in paradise!
25:26Cover him!
25:28Kofi did it!
25:30Kofi did it!
25:31Kofi did it!
25:32Kofi is champion!
25:33Time honestly, like,
25:34stopped for a second.
25:36I just couldn't believe
25:37that it actually happened.
25:38This story could finally
25:40have the ending
25:41that it deserved.
25:43Eleven long years!
25:46Kofi Kingston
25:48has done it, man!
25:52WrestleMania is known
25:53as the showcase
25:54of the immortals.
25:55It's where superstars
25:57become legends,
25:58and those legends
25:58pass their torches
25:59to the next generation.
26:01But oftentimes,
26:02those stars forget
26:03the ones who paved the way.
26:04In a WrestleMania 32,
26:07the League of Nations
26:08would be forced
26:09to remember.
26:12There are no three men
26:14in history
26:15who could ever go
26:16toe-to-toe
26:17with this unit.
26:20The heartbreak kick!
26:22Mr. WrestleMania's back!
26:25McFoley
26:26is a big cactus jack!
26:29No!
26:29No, it's not!
26:31Stone Cold
26:32Steve Austin!
26:34The legends are there
26:35in the ring.
26:36WrestleMania 32,
26:37grandest stage of them all.
26:39This is an incredible moment!
26:43Well, now it's three out of three!
26:44Would have never expected
26:46to see this!
26:46To be able to mix it up
26:48with heroes from my youth
26:49was massive for me.
26:51Mr. Sacco
26:53and the Mammable Claw!
26:55It was a feel-good moment.
26:57Swing-chid music!
26:59Stone Cold Stunner!
27:01Taking the Stone Cold Stunner,
27:03something that,
27:04to this day,
27:05people constantly
27:06ask me about.
27:07This is unreal!
27:11Afterwards,
27:12we felt the need
27:13to bond with them.
27:15Whoa, wait a minute!
27:17Okay!
27:18Oh, my gosh!
27:20I've never seen
27:20Stone Cold dance!
27:21Oh, no!
27:24Stunner!
27:25Oh, hell yeah!
27:27We are able to stand
27:29across from three legends.
27:31Come on, man.
27:31We made it,
27:32so it was great.
27:34Three of the greatest
27:35of all time!
27:40In 2015,
27:41Chief Executives
27:42Triple H
27:43and Stephanie McMahon
27:44ruled WWE
27:45with an iron fist
27:46and answered
27:47to no one.
27:48Everyone
27:48will get what they deserve.
27:52This evolution
27:54of WWE
27:55wouldn't be possible
27:57without
27:58me.
28:01WrestleMania 31,
28:03the power couple,
28:04demanded the fans praise.
28:08We own every superstar
28:11just like
28:13we own
28:14all of you.
28:16WrestleMania 31
28:17was Triple H and I
28:19in the ring
28:19only to be interrupted.
28:21If you smile!
28:24The Rock
28:24is...
28:26Oh, my!
28:27The Rock is here!
28:29Rock comes out,
28:31puts me in my place,
28:32puts Triple H
28:33in his place.
28:35You don't own
28:36them,
28:38and you
28:39damn sure
28:40don't own
28:41The Rock.
28:44Only I wasn't
28:45going to stand for it.
28:47Oh!
28:48Wow.
28:48What are you
28:49going to do
28:50about it,
28:50huh?
28:51You're going
28:51to hit a woman?
28:52The Rock
28:53would never
28:54hit a woman,
28:55but I have
28:56a very good
28:57friend who
28:58would be happy
28:59to.
29:00It's Ronda Rousey!
29:01Greatest UFC
29:02Women's Champion
29:03of all time.
29:04I was like,
29:04it's my turn!
29:06I was trying
29:07so hard
29:07not to smile.
29:09Oh, no!
29:10I go to hit
29:11Ronda.
29:12She blocks me,
29:13puts me in the
29:13arm bar.
29:14Triple H rushes
29:15her.
29:15She hip-tosses
29:16Triple H.
29:17Ronda took
29:18down the gate!
29:20She was like
29:20a giddy little
29:21kid backstage.
29:23It's just a
29:24match!
29:26With The Rock
29:27and Ronda
29:28is cooking!
29:31WrestleMania 25
29:33gave us what
29:34many believe
29:34to be the
29:34greatest match
29:35in the event's
29:36history.
29:37Shawn Michaels
29:37versus The Undertaker.
29:39Michaels caught
29:39him in there!
29:40Two stone!
29:41He did it!
29:4217 and 0!
29:44Unfortunately
29:45for Shawn Michaels,
29:46he fell short
29:47that night
29:47and was unable
29:48to overcome
29:49the Phenom.
29:50The following
29:51year,
29:51he challenged
29:52The Undertaker
29:53to one more
29:54face-off.
29:55You and me,
29:56WrestleMania,
29:57one more
29:59time.
30:02If I beat you,
30:04your career
30:05is over.
30:11Shawn Michaels
30:12been obsessing
30:12about this match
30:13for a year.
30:14We had to put
30:15a match together
30:15that had him
30:17on more sense
30:18of desperation.
30:19The Undertaker
30:20said Shawn Michaels'
30:21obsession would
30:22cause him to pay
30:23the ultimate price.
30:25If he makes one
30:25mistake and he gets
30:27beat, it's over.
30:28Is the career over?
30:29No!
30:30What?
30:31The camaraderie of the
30:33boys, like, sitting
30:34around watching
30:34Taker and Shawn,
30:35in those moments,
30:36you get to be fans
30:37again.
30:39Last ride!
30:41Is it the end
30:42of Michaels'
30:43career?
30:43No!
30:44Shawn Michaels
30:45will not surrender!
30:49I'd always been able
30:50to garner sympathy
30:51from the people,
30:53but now I'd
30:54guarded it from him.
30:55Stay down!
30:59Dang, dude,
31:00stay down.
31:00I don't want
31:01to do this to you.
31:13I couldn't think
31:14of a better way
31:15to go out.
31:16There's a little bit
31:17of heartache.
31:18And that's the way
31:19it's supposed to be.
31:20Shawn Michaels'
31:21career is over.
31:28WrestleMania is known
31:29as the show of shows.
31:30The event is like
31:30like a rollercoaster
31:32ride of emotions.
31:33And in 2015,
31:34one superstar
31:35went for a ride
31:36unlike any other.
31:37Seth Rollins
31:38is strapped in
31:39and ready to roll
31:40at WrestleMania 31
31:41against the legend
31:42killer Randy Orton.
31:44But that wouldn't
31:45be the only time
31:45we'd see Rollins
31:46that night.
31:50Coming up next,
31:51we've been waiting
31:51for this Mr. Money
31:53in the Bank,
31:54Seth Rollins
31:54versus Randy Orton.
31:56It was my first
31:57WrestleMania singles
31:57match, which is awesome
31:59to be able to have
31:59that against a legend
32:00like Randy
32:01is really cool.
32:02Rollins second row
32:03for the second
32:03moonsault.
32:05Seth Rollins
32:06is one of the
32:07best competitors
32:08of this generation.
32:10This match
32:11at WrestleMania
32:11just goes to show
32:12his timing
32:13is impeccable.
32:15Rollins again
32:16to the midsection.
32:17Seth Rollins may have
32:18Randy up his in
32:18for another curve stop.
32:21Oh,
32:21with an RKO!
32:22Oh, my God!
32:24That's one of the top
32:25RKOs that I've ever done.
32:26and those people
32:28were alive.
32:29What an RKO by Orton!
32:32And Randy Orton wins!
32:33We had a really good
32:34match that night,
32:35but then maybe the moment
32:36at the end of the night
32:37overshadowed the match.
32:38The ultimate prize at stake.
32:41It's not the Rage!
32:42Who can capitalize?
32:46Seth Rollins!
32:48Mr. Money in the Bank!
32:49I don't think
32:51I've ever ran
32:52so fast
32:53in my life
32:54down that thing
32:55like Usain Bolt.
32:56This is brilliant!
33:00Curve stop the Rage!
33:03Covered by Rollins!
33:05Rollins with the title!
33:06Rollins with the title!
33:08I took that title
33:09and I got the hell
33:10out of there.
33:11It was so special
33:12and so cool.
33:13Rollins with the
33:14heist of the century!
33:18WrestleMania 27
33:19saw the game Triple H
33:20face off against
33:21the phenom The Undertaker
33:22in a brutal
33:23no-holds-barred match.
33:24Though the dead man
33:26would come out victorious,
33:27he'd leave the ring
33:28in unceremonious fashion.
33:31The Undertaker refused
33:32to let that image
33:33of him being carted out
33:34as a lasting memory
33:36and offered Triple H
33:37one last shot
33:38at immortality.
33:40This thing
33:41is far bigger
33:42than you and I.
33:44You want WrestleMania?
33:47You got it!
33:50This time the two
33:51would clash
33:52inside the Devil's
33:53Playground.
33:54The Heartbreak Kid
33:55would serve as
33:55a special guest referee
33:56in a match dubbed
33:58Hell in a Cell.
34:02Here we go!
34:04You got two guys
34:05who are ass kickers
34:07and don't take a step back.
34:09The story was so good
34:11in Intermesh.
34:12It's wicked!
34:14It's physical!
34:16Oh no!
34:17Oh no!
34:17Oh no!
34:18Oh no!
34:18Every time
34:19that we were with
34:21one another
34:21went above and beyond
34:23just being good.
34:26Sweet tin music!
34:27Look at this!
34:28Look at this!
34:29Sweet tin music
34:30and a pedigree!
34:32A pedigree!
34:33Streak's over!
34:34Streak's over!
34:35I've got the cap!
34:36They've done it!
34:36Oh!
34:37Oh, they haven't done it!
34:39It's not over!
34:40It's not over!
34:41The streak lives!
34:43That was our last
34:44big shot altogether
34:46of us doing
34:47what we do
34:47with each other.
34:48One of my
34:49favorite moments
34:51of all time.
34:52The sign
34:52of the disaster!
34:56The count
34:57and the three!
35:00Standing up there
35:01with those two guys
35:02who I had
35:03the utmost respect for
35:05and probably
35:06the most special
35:07moment
35:08in my career.
35:10An image
35:10we can never
35:11replicate.
35:16WWE's
35:16most popularizing
35:17star in 2014
35:19was undoubtedly
35:20Daniel Bryan.
35:21You people
35:22have believed
35:23in me
35:24and you have
35:25no idea
35:26how much
35:27that means
35:27to me.
35:28The young
35:29up-and-comer
35:30worked his way
35:30up to the
35:31WWE title picture
35:33only to be
35:33constantly
35:34circumvented
35:35by the authority.
35:36You might not
35:37be an A
35:38but you
35:40are a B
35:41plus.
35:43The stable
35:43of Triple H
35:44and Stephanie McMahon
35:45put every obstacle
35:46in front of Bryan.
35:47The battered and bruised
35:49Daniel Bryan
35:49had two more hurdles
35:50between him
35:51and championship gold.
35:53The animal
35:53Batista
35:54and the WWE champion
35:56Randy Orton.
36:00This is a triple threat
36:01match for the WWE World
36:03Heavyweight Championship.
36:05Main eventing
36:06WrestleMania
36:06for people in our industry
36:08that's the highest
36:09accomplishment that you can get.
36:11Can Daniel Bryan pull off a miracle?
36:14This is Bryan's like
36:15day he's been dreaming of
36:17since he's been a little boy.
36:19Right on that shoulder.
36:20There's no way
36:22that he can beat
36:23100% for this match.
36:25Batista bomb
36:26into an RKO.
36:27Oh my god!
36:29We all have
36:29roadblocks
36:30but it is about
36:31believing in oneself
36:32and that's what I admire
36:33most about Daniel.
36:35That's tribulation
36:35Stephanie.
36:37You have to have
36:37the bad guy
36:38to make the good guy
36:39the hero.
36:40Bryan's got the sledgehammer
36:41right to the game.
36:44Daniel Bryan
36:45needed Batista.
36:47Come on Bryan.
36:48Yes lock.
36:49Come on Daniel.
36:51He did it!
36:52Daniel Bryan did it!
36:54You gotta be kidding me!
36:55It's what you
36:56are in this business for
36:58moments like that.
36:59It's the 78,000 people
37:00that were all doing
