Kenyan Man Makes History at London Marathon, Breaking World Record by Finishing in Under 2 Hours

Sebastian Sawe of Kenya has become the first runner to complete a record-eligible marathon in under two hours. He shattered the men’s world record at the London Marathon on Sunday, finishing in 1:59:30. That time is 65 seconds faster than the previous record set by fellow Kenyan Kelvin Kiptum in Chicago in 2023.
