00:00You know, one of the greatest moments I ever, you know, was part of when I was in Vegas.
00:05I knew Don King really well, and I knew his son very well, and they got me tickets and my
00:11wife to go see, you know, George Foreman.
00:13And so I'm sitting ringside watching George Foreman the night of Michael Mora, and that was one of the most
00:19explosive nights in the history of boxing, at least in my lifetime, and it was one of the most insane
00:26moments.
00:27Was that not one of the most insane moments?
00:28And I want to show you something.
00:30I was there that night, and here's the Mora and Foreman, you know, press credential for me sitting on the
00:37floor there.
00:38And your opinion, was that not one of the most electric moments in boxing history?
00:44It's one of the moments that I will always remember for two things, you know, like you go into the
00:49fight and everybody, you know, as reporters, we're not supposed to root, but everybody loves Big George and this comeback
00:55story and all the great stuff.
00:57And then he's getting the crap beat out of him for, you know, that whole fight, right?
01:00It's not a competitive fight.
01:02He's losing the entire weight.
01:04And you're kind of going, when's this going to end?
01:07And it's not fun.
01:08And then all of a sudden, George lands that shot.
01:11Mora goes down.
01:13And then, I don't know if it was immediately on TV, because like you, I was there.
01:17He walks over to the corner and he gets on his knees and he prays.
01:20And so that, you got chills from seeing that.
01:24And then when Michael Buffer makes the announcement, and, you know, it's always dramatic when they say, and the new.
01:29But he put a little emphasis right there when he said, and big George raised his hands up.
01:36And it was just, it was an amazing night.
01:40It really was.
01:41And people don't realize, I asked George, I became great friends with him.
01:46He wore the same shorts that night that he lost in Zaire.
01:51That night, he ended up beating Michael Mora.
01:54And it was almost 20 years to the night that he would go on and beat Michael Mora when he
02:00lost that fight in Zaire to Muhammad Ali, the Rumble in the Jungle.
02:05And truly one of the greatest moments of all time.
02:08We're going to switch gears because Kevin switched gears.
02:11He went from boxing to MMA.
02:13And that has now taken over Las Vegas.
