00:04In this lesson, we will learn the rules of Quranic recitation in Salah and the importance
00:10of congregational prayer in Islam. Reciting aloud in Fajr, Maghrib and Isha is not obligatory when
00:17praying alone, but it is highly preferable to follow the Sunnah. While residing at home,
00:22the Sunnah is to recite from various sections of Al Mufassil based on the specific prayer time.
00:27This includes long surahs for Fajr and Zur, medium for Asr and Isha, and shorter surahs for the Maghrib
00:35prayer. Imamah means leadership in prayer, and jama'ah means offering prayer together with one
00:40imam and followers. Congregational prayer brings 27 times the reward, strengthens our unity,
00:46and encourages devotion and discipline. May Allah help us establish prayer correctly and consistently.
