00:00I would give the Giants first round of their draft an A-.
00:03Hats off to everybody involved.
00:05You got the best player available at five.
00:07You got yourself an offensive lineman.
00:10I am happy with what the Giants did.
00:12No complaints.
00:14Outside of not selecting Caleb Downs.
00:17A player that I think is the best player in this draft,
00:20not named Fernando Mendoza.
00:22And the Giants had an opportunity at 10 to take downs.
00:25Now, it's hard to argue against it
00:27because you took an offensive lineman.
00:28And an offensive lineman in the top 10,
00:31it's a hard hat move.
00:32It's a winning championship move.
00:34I get it, especially when you consider Harbaugh wants to play smash mouth football.
00:38So I can't argue against it.
00:41That's why I gave it an A- this draft, first round.
00:44But I wanted downs.
00:46And the fact that downs went next to the Cowboys at 11,
00:50you know, that stings.
00:52Because I obviously hate the Cowboys.
00:55And the fact that they got Caleb Downs,
00:57and we got to see Caleb Downs,
00:58the Giants have to see him for the, you know,
01:00two times a year for the next 10, 15 years,
01:03if he has a brilliant career,
01:04which I expect him to have,
01:06that part stings.
01:08So the fact that they passed on downs
01:10and the Cowboys scooped him up,
01:11that sucks.
01:12But overall, an A- first round,
01:15I think a good step here.
01:16The first step as far as drafts in the John Harbaugh era,
01:20the first round I think was a success.
