Sir Keir Starmer urges the leaders of arts, business, and university sectors to "act with urgency" to tackle antisemitism. Speaking at a summit held in Downing Street, Starmer says: "I'm asking you – each and every one of you – to reflect on what form antisemitism takes in the sectors that you lead, in how it may be allowed to fester and spread, and on the work that you are currently doing to stamp it out."

00:00I'm asking you, each and every one of you, to reflect on what form anti-Semitism takes in the sectors
00:10that you lead, in how it may be allowed to fester and spread, and on the work that you are
00:19currently doing to stamp it out.
00:23And then, even more importantly, I'm calling on you to act with urgency, to look clearly at where you are
00:34succeeding, and just as clearly at where there is still work to be done, and to commit to the tangible
00:43action that Jewish people in this country need to feel safe again.
00:48Because stopping anti-Semitism is not someone else's responsibility. It is all of ours. That is the test before us.
00:59And only by working together will we meet it.
