00:00And we have to be really clear that an attack on our Jewish community is an attack on all of
00:05us
00:05and we have to approach it in that way.
00:08Now yesterday, as you probably saw, I chaired a COBRA meeting, which some around the table were at.
00:14That was dealing predominantly with our immediate response and how we coordinate that response,
00:19but also about what enhanced security and other measures need to go in place.
00:25And we've already got enhanced funding in place.
00:28That's been in for some time, but we're uplifting that, as has been announced this morning.
00:33We are fast-tracking legislation to deal with malign state actors.
00:39And of course, we must absolutely deal with the root causes of both anti-Semitism and extremism.
00:48But today is about part of the response, which is really important, which is the criminal justice response,
00:55because a number of people have been arrested, a number are going through the criminal justice system.
00:59And it's really important that we are able collectively to demonstrate that the response will be swift.
01:06And it's really important to look to the police system.
01:06We do not have aud partition.
01:06If we see that, say, that race would be a bit different from the police system.
