00:00Well we've got a slight rise in jobless claims up to two hundred and fourteen thousand from a revised two
00:06hundred and eight
00:06thousand. Not a big change doesn't signal anything major happening in the economy on a continuing basis. Claims are at
00:13one
00:14million eight hundred and twenty one thousand. That's up from one eight oh nine the two weeks before. So at
00:20this point it's
00:22still kind of the same story that we have been seeing. The companies out there are on hold. They're not
00:27laying off people in
00:28great numbers but they're not hiring either. Be interesting to see what the war effect is when we get the
00:35April jobs
00:37numbers coming up in May. Eight thirty on Thursday mornings. Mike I'm just going to clip this and then keep
00:43playing
00:43it out next week and the week after. So I could take Thursday off. You can like your analysis will
00:48still work as well.
00:49Thursday morning at eight thirty eastern time. It's almost exactly the same. It's low higher low fire. If you're out
00:54of work
00:54right now it's difficult to get another job. We see that in continuing claims. Low fire you see that in
00:59jobless claims. Four week average around 210 this morning. Four week average around 210. Phenomenally low
01:05initial jobless claims. And we talk about the same thing every single Thursday morning and have done now
01:09for months on months on months.
