00:00Money rules the world, and I love this next story so much
00:03because the last laugh you're going to think is with the Chicago Bears.
00:06It's actually not.
00:07It's with the state of Indiana.
00:09So we need to take a look at politics, Joe, right?
00:11It's like Indiana is a liberal state, or excuse me, is a conservative state,
00:14and Illinois is a liberal state there.
00:17So we always thought this was interesting.
00:18Like, Indiana's like, we already have one football team.
00:20Come on, Chicago.
00:21We'll lay out the red carpet.
00:22We will drive that price higher for the state of Illinois.
00:24But if you want, we got a state waiting with a lot of money to give you
00:29to put the Chicago Bears in Indiana.
00:31So now we're seeing here a report from Evan Sidery.
00:34The Illinois House Revenue Committee just voted in favor of the Bears' new stadium
00:39in Arlington Heights.
00:40It says now if the state house also approves the final step,
00:43the Bears are officially staying in Illinois long term.
00:46Which, if you are Indiana, you've got to be laughing because how much more
00:50did it cost the state of Illinois to keep the Chicago Bears?
00:53Because Indiana's like, we'll give you whatever we want,
00:56even though you know the Bears never wanted to go to Indiana,
00:58and all it did was force Illinois to pay that much more for the Chicago Bears.
01:04Kind of funny how it worked out.
01:06Oh, and it's not.
01:07It's vintage.
01:08It's absolutely vintage.
01:10Right out of the playbook, Donnie, right?
01:12Say something that you know absolutely won't come to fruition,
01:17but will open up 23 other doors for you to walk right through.
01:21It is exactly what they did in this spot here.
01:24You don't think somebody was making money with all of this?
01:27No, please.
01:29Unreal.
