00:00Tight ends galore last night. A lot of good tight ends in this draft. We may have had a surprise

00:04early in the draft in round number one. Now the Chicago Bears sitting there at the 10 spot saying,

00:10you know what, we'll take the best player available on the board and we'd love to have a tight end to

00:13go with Cole Komet and our young franchise quarterback. We have a solid running game here,

00:17the wide receivers. Maybe this is the missing piece to the puzzle where this offense can

00:21absolutely groove. Colston Loveland was on the board and so was Tyler Warren. So most people

00:26in draft Knicks here were saying to themselves, you know what, I do think the better tight end

00:31for myself and me included was Tyler Warren. Loveland goes number 10 overall to the Bears and it's also

00:36one of those picks, Joe, that we talk about. I don't hate the pick for the Bears. I would have

00:41drafted differently, but Loveland is a really good tight end. Your thoughts when the Bears went tight

00:46end and didn't go with Warren, what was that? Well, what that is, is Ben Johnson, the new head

00:52coach for the Chicago Bears coming out of, oh, I don't know, a guy like Sam LaPorter, who I am sure

00:59Loveland reminding him a lot of. And Johnson loved LaPorter in Detroit. And, you know, a lot of the

01:07plays and a lot of the schemes that he was putting together for the Lions involved a big tight end who

01:13can catch and run. And I think Loveland is exactly that for the Bears. And it's going to give Caleb

01:20Williams a legit receiving threat in just about all areas of the field, which is exactly what

01:28his job was when he was hired, is to make sure that you surround this kid with weapons and give

01:33him an opportunity to be able to succeed. And a great tight end will go a long way for a young

01:39quarterback. And I think they got the right one.
