02:01we're going to try for some albies, something I've never done before.
02:04I've got a couple of buddies that are going to help us,

02:46So we're going to be chasing albies around.
02:47Uh-huh.
02:48We're going to run about 30 miles, give or take, down to, like, the Rhode Island mass border.
02:53The fish we're chasing, false albacore and benito, some of the funnest light tackle fish that we offer up here
02:58in New England.
02:58You call it benito or little tunnies?
03:00Little tunnies are the false albacore.
03:02Benito are the different little species that we like to catch.
03:04You guys down south call albies benita.
03:07Uh-huh.
03:07Well, Peter, welcome aboard.
03:08I'm excited to show you a little bit of what I've grown up fishing.
03:10Let's fire it up.
03:12I've heard about albie fever.
03:14Albies, albies, albies.
03:15It's that rush that takes over up here in Cape Cod.
03:18You see them, you start to get a little bit crazy.
03:20It's considered an obsession mixed with pure excitement.
03:23You'll see the chaos.
03:24They'll show up over here and you're just throwing everything you have.
03:27You look really fast because they're fast feeders.
03:29Wow.
03:30And once it hits, you can't shake it.
03:32This is what daddy wants.
03:33Yeah.
03:37To catch albie, you've got to follow the bait and the birds.
03:40And when you're chasing a moving target, having sharp eyes makes all the difference.
03:47We've got the guys on the binoculars.
03:49They're looking, seeing a bunch of birds on the surface.
03:51And they're waiting to see, like, if anything's going to pop up.
03:54And really, that's the key.
03:55They want them to pop up so you can get a visual on them.
03:56You want to see them feeding actively as opposed to just, you know, the birds looking, they're looking.
04:01And then you want to see it kind of erupt.

04:05See how they're moving outside now?
04:07I think we should keep pushing.

04:16Straight ahead in between us and that lighthouse.

04:20So we're going to stay upwind of these fish so we can cast right into them.
