00:00The events of 2026 have proven how important it is for us to have fuel security in this country
00:05and it's something that Australians and Queenslanders deserve and expect
00:10and we are pulling every lever possible at a state to make sure that we can take back control
00:16and put our state in the driver's seat when it comes to fuel security in this state and in this
00:22nation.
00:22We are going to continue to put our pedal to the metal because we have to drive this
00:27for the short and the medium and the long term. We have to make sure that we don't allow ourselves
00:32to be in this situation ever again. What this does is it mixes regular diesel with that renewable diesel
00:39so think tallow, canola oil, animal fats and it's about making sure that that can help Queensland made
00:47into Queensland cars and shoring up the fuel supply for Queenslanders.
00:51All we're asking for Canberra is to go back to exactly the way things have been for decades and decades
00:58until November last year when they had to do a deal with the Greens in order for that bill to
01:04pass the house.
