00:00It's a big game in Los Angeles last night.
00:02It was the Lakers and the Houston Rockets.
00:04Kevin Durant came back into the lineup for the Houston Rockets,
00:06played last night.
00:07Decent, was a little bit inefficient at times,
00:09but so was the offense for the Rockets,
00:11who just seemed like they couldn't make a three-point shot,
00:13going 7 of 29 from three-point range for 24%.
00:16And then there was the Lakers.
00:17They shot 46% from three-point range.
00:20LeBron James, the ageless wonder,
00:22and a 2-0 series lead for the Lakers over the Rockets.
00:25Let's hear from postgame Joe King James and Kevin Durant here.
00:29The game is nothing.
00:31Series is not one until you win four.
00:33It's the first of four.
00:34But our only mindset is game three.
00:37The game is always played in between the lines,
00:39and that's all that matters.
00:42We have an opportunity to play the next one,
00:45and that's all you can ask for.
00:46We're in the postseason,
00:47and to have an opportunity to play another playoff game.
00:51We should be excited about that,
00:53but we also should make sure we take care of our bodies, too.
00:55That was a hard-fought game.
00:56I mean, we got tomorrow,
00:59and we got to fly down to Houston on Thursday
01:01and get ready to play on Friday.
01:02And obviously, you weren't there for game one.
01:04What are you just seeing overall with the offensive execution
01:07and how y'all need to improve on that end?
01:11We're just not making shots, to be honest.
01:12We're not shooting the ball well.
01:16We're getting good looks.
01:17We're missing a lot of layups.
01:19But yeah, I just think that's the difference in the game.
01:21They're making shots.
01:22You know, Smart was the guy that knocked down shots for him today.
01:26And Kennard, too.
01:27But last game, Kennard got it going, too.
01:31And they're shooting the ball well.
01:32You know what I'm saying?
01:33So we got to cut their water off,
01:35but we also got to be aggressive to knock down our shots, too.
01:39Come on, Kevin Durant.
01:40You do what you do best at this point.
01:42Bring in some of the best players in the world.
01:43You need Steph.
01:44You need Draymond.
01:45You need Klay.
01:45You need a dynasty for you to win basketball games.
01:47This is up to you.
01:48You came back against a Lakers team that just has old man LeBron James,
01:52and you find yourself down 0-2.
01:55Well, not just that.
01:56I mean, you know, two former Celtics.
01:58What, Kennard and Marcus Smart now are the two best players on the court, Donnie?
02:02I mean, they combined to go 8-of-13 last night and 8 three-pointers.
02:07Meanwhile, Kevin Durant, who we didn't learn until maybe about within the hour of tip-off
02:13that he was going to go, but, you know, he looks terrible.
02:16I mean, he looks like that knee is a problem,
02:19and then he turns the ball over nine times in the game,
02:23only takes up a handful of shots,
02:25and nobody else can pick it up for the Rockets,
02:27who once again could not manage any three-point perimeter game whatsoever.
02:34And that's it.
02:35That was the ball game once again for the Rockets.
02:37They're getting worse as this series progresses.
