00:00Lost the Angels Lakers last night.
00:01And I love conspiracy theories.
00:04I love anger issues.
00:05I love Twitter absolutely going crazy about the foul calls here
00:09and SGA is a merchant getting to the line.
00:12Austin Reeves almost got his arm torn out.
00:14Give me last night's action because for me,
00:16I don't think there's any way that they cover the 15 and a half
00:18halfway through that game looking at some of the updates.
00:20They did.
00:21I loved it.
00:21But what was your perspective of this series so far with the refs?
00:25So I want to say I had a bunch of tweets last night
00:29complaining about the refs,
00:31but not through the lens of like,
00:34oh, they're jobbing the Lakers.
00:37They're in the bag for Oklahoma City.
00:39No, because that would be stupid.
00:41Again, if the refs were going to fix the game and the result,
00:44it would be the other way.
00:46No, it was just guys being bad at their job.
00:50The beginning of the game, they were like,
00:53what if we just didn't even,
00:55what if we just didn't have whistles?
00:57And it was so out of control that J.J.
01:02Redick had to challenge an offensive foul on Aiton that was being reviewed
01:08for a flagrant, right?
01:10That ended up getting overturned and being a foul on Jett Holmgren.
01:14Then the rest were like, okay, we'll call everything a foul.
01:18What?
01:19Yep.
01:19Everything's a foul.
01:20And then they got into the middle of the game.
01:23They're like, okay, how about this?
01:24If you flop, it's a foul.
01:27But if you go up strong, it's not.
01:28That seems backwards.
01:30So, like, Austin Reeves and A.J. Mitchell are living at the line.
01:34But, like, Jett Holmgren and LeBron can't buy a call.
01:38Then we got to the point SGA got called for a foul,
01:42being reviewed for a flagrant.
01:43Dagnold's like, I'm going to, you know what?
01:45I'll challenge that one.
01:46No, just a flagrant foul.
01:48Just a flagrant foul.
01:49It was truly, and you know I don't want to say this, Donnie.
01:53It was an awful watch.
01:55Like, the officials made it an awful watch.
01:59And we are now two for two on thunder covers
02:04that have not gone the way you usually anticipate.
02:08And what I mean by that is 20-point halftime lead,
02:1235-point, you know, three-quarter lead.
02:15Nobody plays in the fourth.
02:16Instead, you're entering these fourth quarters
02:19if you're holding a Laker ticket or a thunder ticket,
02:22being like, my goodness, man.
02:23Like, could the Lakers steal this game?
02:25And then they lose by 18.
02:27So, now they're going back to Los Angeles.
02:29I still imagine, I think the Lakers are as likely
02:33to lose a game in this series by 35 as they are to steal a game.
02:37So, I wonder if that's the pattern we're set to follow.
02:41Yeah.
02:44James Harden.
02:45Yeah.
02:46Sure.
02:47Outstanding.
02:48Yeah.
02:48Outstanding job again last night.
02:51Really great acquisition there.
02:53Can't blame Mitchell here,
02:55but it just feels like the three of them can't get on the same page.
02:59Mobley, nowhere to be found.
03:00Donovan Mitchell shows up.
03:02No James Harden.
03:04And here we go again.
03:05Like, they really are not that good a team right now, are they, Kevin?
03:10I love how you put it.
03:11Can I offer up a backhanded?
03:13You know, we have backhanded compliments, a backhanded defense of James Harden.
03:19Last year in a game seven against Denver while he was a Clipper, people were like, wow, he was awful
03:25again.
03:26And what a nightmare for his legacy.
03:28And I'm like, guys, how are you still asking questions about Harden's legacy?
03:33That has been settled up for a very long time.
03:36And so my defense of Harden is, I do not understand why everyone is watching in his prime Mitchell or
03:46in his prime Mobley and like, you know whose fault in this really is?
03:5037-year-old Harden not showing up.
03:52Guys, of course, James Harden had 10 points on three of 13 shooting with four turno.
04:00Of course, that's what happened.
04:01What are you talking about?
04:03I don't even, again, like, man, Kenny Atkinson ripping a coach of the year and then following it up the
04:09next season.
04:09Like, what if Dennis Schroeder ran my offense for large portions of this basketball game?
04:15I just, yeah, man.
04:17And we talked about this as well, I think, the three of us.
04:20I couldn't believe how many people, after the Pistons and the Cavs each went seven, thought the Pistons going seven
04:28was more offensive and embarrassing and damning than what Cleveland did.
