00:00The end of this ceasefire appears to be a few hours away.
00:04We've heard President Trump in the last couple of hours saying,
00:07I do not want to extend the ceasefire.
00:10So when it ends, and if it does so in the absence of an agreement,
00:14what logically happens then?
00:15So I think the president is trying to signal that the United States
00:19is willing to go back into armed conflict
00:21and essentially restart the bombing of Iran.
00:24I've just heard in the last minutes, however,
00:27that Pakistan has formally requested that the United States and Iran
00:31do in fact extend that ceasefire.
00:33I think that President Trump at the end of the day
00:36would like to avoid going back into armed conflict.
00:40And so my prediction is that there will be a formula found
00:43to extend that ceasefire,
00:45or maybe we'll see a few kind of symbolic bombings resume
00:52in order for the president to see through that position.
00:54I think he thinks that he can pressure Iran this way,
00:58and I'm afraid that's a miscalculation.
