00:00What do you think investors are going to be concerned about? Because confidence may dip because, as Michael was just
00:07explaining, Tim Cook was kind of a phenomenon, wasn't he? So what can we expect from Turnus?
00:14You're right. Absolutely huge shoes to fill. And so I think it's probably important that he doesn't attempt to fill
00:21shoes, but, you know, makes his own way and forges his own path. So reaction has been cautious, but confident.
00:29There was mixed initial market reaction. And we saw Apple's stock dip very slightly by 0.8% after the
00:38announcement. But that's far from, you know, a panicked reaction.
00:41It just shows a little bit uncertainty, which given, you know, a company of Apple's size and standing is to
00:49be expected. Now, overall, he is viewed as a safe choice. He's a company man. He's been at Apple for
00:5425 years running the hardware decision. And I think this is a good call. You know, it's stability and investors
01:02are going to feel reassured with him at the helm.
01:05Now, he has a strong track record. As you mentioned, he's he has overseen major products, including the iPhone, Mac,
01:12iPad and AirPods. And I'm like Julianne. I have all the gadgets because they all link up and it makes
01:18it quite seamless.
01:19Now, he's also been credited with helping revive Mac sales and product momentum. But what do his detractors say? And
01:28we did touch upon this. AI remains the big question.
01:31And it is an area in which Apple has been seen to have been lagging behind its competitors in generative
01:37AI. And that worries investors moving forward.
01:41So that's probably, I think, going to be top of the list. It's going to be one of his key
01:45challenges.
01:46And it's going to be what helps him stand out from Tim Cook, who has been criticized for not focusing
01:52on that area.
01:53We watched him in this video.
