00:00No, I'm not an Oregon grinder. I'm planting grass seed. Cool season grasses are best planted in the
00:06fall. Warm season grasses in late spring. It won't grow if you just put it on unprepared soil. And
00:13I've learned that the hard way. So notice how this just sprays out the grass seed very nicely. And
00:20now we do our raking. I'm just going over with the back of the rake, taking that grass seed and
00:26burying it slightly, very slightly. And now we get to the rolling part. And you just go back and
00:34forth. This sets the seed. It smooths the soil. This one seems to be filled with lead. So now we're
00:41ready
00:41to cover this whole prepared area with some salt hay. And it has to be sprinkled on. No big flakes.
00:50A light coating. So now all of this has to be watered. And in a couple of weeks, I'll have
00:56the
00:56beginnings of a hopefully green lawn.
