00:00Honestly, they didn't show how hard on the show the forward reduction was for me.
00:05It was, I just feel like that rejection is someone physically looking at you and saying no.
00:12And that's obviously very hard, especially with somebody like myself that deals with such bad body image issues and confident
00:18issues to begin with.
00:19And, you know, I respect their decision. I get it.
00:22There's definitely trolls online that were like, well, maybe you should have walked in prepared.
00:26There's a lot of things behind the scenes that people don't see that I was prepared.
00:29They just didn't tell me to bring in a book.
00:31They're like, we're going to make a new book with you if we were to sign you, blah, blah, blah,
00:34blah.
00:34Anyways, looking back now, I'm very happy that they said no, because I feel like I found an agency that
00:40I am signed with now that honestly feels like home to me.
00:43And I love my agents so, so much. I couldn't be any more grateful to be signed with them.
00:49So I honestly feel like the agency that said no to me was a blessing in disguise because I feel
00:55like I found somewhere that I actually feel safe and comfortable in, especially with what I deal with internally.
01:01I needed an agency that was going to kind of like be friends over business.
01:07And I feel like that's what I found.
01:08I love that. It really is that thing where like rejection is redirection and you found the place where you
01:13had to be.
01:14And I do love hearing too that they are an agency that is going to help you not only prioritize,
01:19you know, getting the money and the fun projects,
01:22but also getting to make sure you are always in the driver's seat, literally, and feeling your best self through
01:29it all.
01:30Because we know that is such a potential downside of modeling a lot.
01:35Oh, no, for sure. My agency is amazing.
01:37They actually encourage me right now to put on some weight because they're an L.A.-based agency that normally the
01:44models there,
01:44like the stock size is like two to four.
01:48So they're actually wanting me to put on some weight right now, which has been like really healing to like
01:52hear that.
01:52Because I feel like you think when you're in the modeling industry, it's like you have to be bone thin.
01:56I mean, that's the perception that I had in the past and very unhealthy and not eating.
02:00And I've had weird experiences before in a show that I walked in that I was hanging out with some
02:05of the models in the morning
02:05while we were getting your glam done.
02:07And I was like, does anyone want anything from Starbucks? I'm going to door dash some food.
02:10And this was before my eating sort of started to get bad again.
02:13And all the girls were like, no, we don't eat before shows.
02:16And like, I feel like that's like the perception you have in the modeling industry.
02:18So to be with somebody like I am at the agency that I am, that they are very body positive
02:24is, it's just amazing.
