00:00We need to look at where the party is right now and what the party requires at this point.
00:08We are a long way from election, so what we're looking at right now is uniting the party, unifying the
00:14party, rebuilding the party, re-energizing our base.
00:17And I think that Kelvon possesses a skill set and a personality type that really allows for that.
00:24Mrs. Roberts-Ratchman said there is togetherness of the PNM despite the internal election, as she is contesting the post
00:33for Lady Vice Chairman on the team Unity Slate of Kelvon Morris.
00:38But what I can say in terms of the quality of the campaigns that I've seen coming out, especially last
00:43week, it was very heartening.
00:45Kelvon and team, we attended Chamfer's meeting and vice versa. Chamfer attended our meeting last night.
00:53We had other independent candidates attending our meeting in John Dial on Saturday.
00:59And at all meetings, all candidates have been given a platform and an opportunity to directly put forward their position
01:06and to directly embrace and speak with the membership.
01:11She said one thing remains constant.
01:13After Sunday's internal election, there remains one PNM.
01:18Former Tobago West MP, Chamfer-Kajul Lewis, and former Minority Leader Kelvin Morris are contesting the leadership of the PNM
01:27-Tobago Council.
01:28As for healing following Sunday's results, where a new political leader would be voted in.
01:35I think both candidates for leadership as well have pledged their commitment, including the other, despite the outcome of the
01:43election.
01:43And they've both pledged their commitment to continue working with and for the party, despite the outcome of the election.
01:50So I think that's very heartening.
01:51I think that's very promising.
01:52I think we are already well on our way towards healing.
01:55Nine polling stations would be available for members to cast their ballots on Sunday.
02:02They are Politiver Multipurpose Facility, Speyside Government Primary School, Roxborough Police Youth Club, John Dial Multipurpose Facility, Mason Hall Government
02:14Primary School, Bishop's High School, Lowlands Multipurpose Facility, Bonacord Government Primary and Plymouth Anglican Primary School.
02:22The polls open at 8 a.m. and close at 6 p.m.
