00:00Do you want to know on how to play the latest Tomodachi Life Living the Dream Game and Nintendo Switch
00:05game into your PC?
00:07If you are, then watch this video chill because I'll be teaching you on how to be able to install
00:12this game and run this game perfectly into your PC.
00:16First of all, what you need is that you will need to have all of these files here that I
00:20have highlighted in the desktop.
00:22You will need the XEI file format of Tomodachi Life, which you got from your legally owned copy of Tomodachi
00:30Life game.
00:31You will need to have the latest Rue Jinx Canary build or U-Bing Canary build in version 1.3
00:36.269.
00:38You will also need the latest product keys and the latest firmware file from your Nintendo Switch console, which you
00:44own.
00:44So before you follow this guide, I need you to agree that you have already legally purchased the game.
00:50So be sure to buy it from GameStop or Best Buy from Nintendo itself, order it digitally or buy it
00:58physically.
00:59So just be sure to own the game and also be sure to own the Nintendo Switch console itself.
01:05Because in this video show, we are not condoning on piracy here.
01:09So we do not condone piracy here.
01:11So let that be known.
01:14So once you own the game and own the console, just open a web browser and go to Google and
01:20just type in U-Bing Emulator.
01:24Hit search and then go for the official GitHub page of U-Bing Emulator because we will need a specific
01:30Canary build in order to play and run this game.
01:34So just go here.
01:35You can find the Canary releases here.
01:38Just click on that and then look for version 1.3.269.
01:44I haven't tried the latest Canary build yet, but the 269 runs the game perfectly and smoothly with no issues
01:52at all.
01:53So just download the Windows zip file version to install the Windows version of U-Bing's Canary build.
02:02Or if you're from Linux or from Mac, just download the version that you need here.
02:07But for me, the Windows version is what we need.
02:09So just click and download it now to get the zip file.
02:13So I'm just going to skip on this part because I already have this file and I'm just going to
02:18skip on this.
02:18So I'm just going to minimize this and I'm just going to open the folder where I have stored the
02:24Canary build.
02:25So to install U-Bing, all you have to do is just open the zip file and then just create
02:31a new folder.
02:32Name it U-Bing Canary13269.
02:41Be sure to name it so that you'll know the Canary build that you'll be using.
02:46And then just open the zip file again and just drag and drop all of these files here into this
02:53folder here to copy them.
02:55Do that now.
02:56Once you've done that, close the zip file, open the folder that you have created,
03:00and then just double click on U-Bing's application file here to run the emulator itself.
03:06I have already installed this and I'm just going to skip on this part and delete this folder here and
03:13open the Canary build that I have already opened in the desktop here.
03:18So as you can see here, I have Tomodachi Life Living the Dream already set into my U-Bing emulator.
03:25So I have lots of, like, Switch games.
03:32So as you can see, my emulator is properly working.
03:36So in order for your U-Bing emulator to work like mine, you will need some certain files installed into
03:42your U-Bing emulator.
03:43And without these files, U-Bing emulator will not be able to switch out to play Switch games.
03:48So again, the files that you need are these files here.
03:51You will need the product keys from your Nintendo Switch console, which should be in version 21.0.1 with
03:57a firmware version of 21.0.1.
04:00Now, if you're asking me, how do I get all of these files?
04:03To get these files, you need to mod your Nintendo Switch console and install a custom firmware in it.
04:10Because if it has a custom firmware, that means that you can now fully access your Nintendo Switch files.
04:16And once you have access on your Nintendo Switch files, all you have to do is just look for all
04:22of your firmware keys.
04:23I mean, your firmware files and your product keys from your Nintendo Switch console.
04:28Copy them, zip them up just like mine here, and transfer them into your PC.
04:33Now, in order for you to get the game, there is no other way around this.
04:37You should purchase the game legally, a physical copy of the game, purchase it from a store,
04:42and then digitally back it up into an XEI or NSP file format, just like mine here.
04:49So, if you don't know how to mod or install a custom firmware to your Nintendo Switch at all,
04:54or you don't know how to digitally back up your game into an XEI file format, just like mine here,
05:00but you own the game, you own it legally, and you own the console itself,
05:04then this is the next step for you.
05:05Again, just be sure that you own the game and the console itself.
05:10So, prepare your mobile phone, scan this QR code here with your QR code reader
05:15so that you'll be redirected to the page wherein you can get all of these files there.
05:21So, be sure to follow all of the instructions in the site when you are there to get all of
05:27these four files.
05:27And once you have them, if you have downloaded them via your mobile phone,
05:31be sure to transfer them into your PC via USB cable into Bluetooth.
05:37And once you have them, it's time to install them in Reubing Emulator.
05:40So, go ahead, open Reubing Emulator again.
05:44And then the first step that we're going to do is install the other keys.
05:47So, just go to Actions, Install Keys, Install.keys,
05:52then create a new folder, name it Keys,
05:55open that folder that you have created,
05:57open the file that you have downloaded from the QR code,
06:01open the zip file,
06:03just drag and drop this product keys here into the folder here.
06:09And then once you have copied that,
06:11select that file,
06:12open, hit yes,
06:14then it has now installed the keys.
06:17The next step is to install the firmware.
06:21So, just go to Actions again,
06:22Install Firmware,
06:23Install Firmware from XER zip file,
06:26and locate on that firmware file.
06:28The version that we need is 21.0.1.
06:32Select that,
06:33hit open,
06:35hit yes,
06:36hit OK.
06:37And now,
06:38it has successfully installed all the necessary files you need
06:42so that Reubing Emulator will be able to play the Modachi Live Living the Dream into your PC now.
06:48Now, for the next step.
06:50The next step is that we will need to optimize Tomodachi Live Living the Dream so that you will run
06:56smoothly in our PC.
06:58And to do that is just select Tomodachi Live Living the Dream game,
07:03right-click on it,
07:03and click on the Edit Custom Configuration.
07:08And in this part,
07:10just be sure to pause this video and copy every setting that you see.
07:14So, these are my settings for the Interface tab,
07:17which has General Settings here.
07:19Your Game Directors is where you will store your Switch games.
07:22Just be sure it's in an SSD drive so that you will be able to run this game faster and
07:28speedily.
07:29Once you're done, go to Input.
07:31Connect your PC controller if you have an Xbox, PlayStation, or a Nintendo Switch Pro controller.
07:37Connect them here.
07:38Map them up according to your liking.
07:40And if you're having some drifting issues into your controller,
07:43then change the Dead Zone into 0.20 in both Left and Rit Stacks.
07:49And once you are done, go to System.
07:50So, here are my settings here.
07:53Region, Language, and Time Zone is objective.
07:56You can change this to whatever you like.
07:59And just be sure to check on FS Integrity Checks.
08:03The Basic Setting is set to Switch.
08:05DRAM Size is set into 4GB.
08:08And then in CPU here, you have to check PPTC.
08:13And Memory Management Mode is Host Unchecked.
08:16And Turbo Mode Multiplier should be set in 200% here.
08:20Now, go to Graphics.
08:22So, this is the most important part of the setting.
08:24So, be sure to copy everything.
08:26So, Graphics, API, and Optimization.
08:29Graphics Backend should be in Vulkan API.
08:31Your preferred GPU is a dedicated graphics card.
08:35At least a GTX 1060 to play Switch Game smoothly with no issues.
08:39Graphics Backend multi-threading should be auto.
08:42Features and Enhancements.
08:44You should enable Shader Crash.
08:45Enable Micro HLE.
08:47Be sure to check those.
08:48Resolution Scale.
08:49This is where you can change the resolution of your game.
08:53You can run it in 4K resolution.
08:561440p resolution and 1080p.
08:58So, if you have a powerful PC and graphics card, then you can go for 4K resolution.
09:03And if you have a decent and powerful graphics card, then you can go for 1440p resolution.
09:11If you have a 1440p monitor, and if you have a low end of a PC or a laptop, just
09:17use the
09:18native resolution, which is 720p, 1080p, and be sure to do that.
09:22Now, anti-aliasing, I have set mine to SMA Ultra.
09:26For you, you can change this to FXAA or none if you have a slow PC.
09:30Now, in Scaling Filter, I have set this to FSR and set to 50% here.
09:36But you can change this to Bilinear if you're having some issues.
09:41Antisotropic Filtering, I have set mine to 16 times.
09:44But you can set this to Auto if you're having some issues in your playthroughs.
09:48And Aspect Ratio is the aspect ratio of your monitor, which is 16 by 9.
09:54And once you're done, go to Audio.
09:56But your back end is the L3.
09:58Volume is set to 100%.
10:01And that's all the settings that you need to change in order for you to play Tomodachi Live
10:06Living the Dream.
10:07So, hit Apply and hit Save.
10:09Now, your Tomodachi Live Living the Dream is now fully optimized to run in Ubinx Emulator
10:14for PC.
10:14Then you'll be able to play this game now.
10:18But a little bit of disclaimer.
10:19I will not be able to show you guys a gameplay of this game running into my PC because we
10:23all know how strict that it is.
10:25And they hate this kind of content.
10:27So, if I showed you a gameplay that this game is running to my PC, then my channel might
10:32be taken down.
10:33My videos will be taken down.
10:35And I don't want that to happen.
10:37But I am willing to show you proof that this video trail of mine is working.
10:42That's why I will try to boot up my game into the title screen.
10:46And once I am in the title screen, I'm just going to stop the emulation there.
10:50And I'm just going to blur the screen from here on out so that Nintendo will not be able
10:54to hit me with any of the copyright strikes into my channel.
10:58So, I have not installed any mods into the game yet.
11:02But there's a mod that will allow you to run this game in 60fps and some graphical enhancements
11:09into the game.
11:10So, I'm not going to do that now.
11:11That will be into a separate video.
11:14And as long as you follow all the steps that I have shown you in this guide, then you'll
11:17be able to play Tomodachi Live Living the Dream with no issues at all.
11:21So, if you have some questions regarding the installation process of this game, then just
11:26leave a comment in the comment section below and I'll try my best to answer all of them
11:31as fast as I can.
