Bulgarians headed to the polls on Sunday in their eighth election in five years, with former president Rumen Radev's anti-corruption bloc leading in polls.

00:00Former Bulgarian President Rumin Radev is projected to win the parliamentary elections,
00:07according to early exit polls. Radev's center-left progressive coalition is expected to secure
00:1337 to 39 percent of the vote. Well ahead of the conservative Djerb party, led by Boyko Borisov,
00:22Bulgarians voted today in their eighth election in just five years. Radev ran on a pledge to
00:29fight corruption after an anti-graft movement triggered a long political crisis. He stepped
00:35down from the presidency in January to leave the movement and has promised to dismantle what he
00:41calls an oligarchic system. In terms of EU policy, Radev opposes sending arms to Ukraine, seeking
00:48closer ties with the Kremlin. The Central Election Commission says turnout reached 34.63 percent by
