00:00What was your early impression of Sean Alston and Deshaun Brideaux?
00:04Those guys are going to be great.
00:05I mean, they stayed the course.
00:07They already showing a glimpse of it out here right now.
00:09They just got to stay the course and they'll be great players here for sure.
00:12With waving back, what's the importance of kind of that connection
00:15between you guys off the field, on the field, kind of everywhere?
00:19We hang out all the time.
00:21If we're in the building, we're going to be either getting recovery together
00:23or at the same racks every day.
00:25And the way when we push each other to the best,
00:27because we honestly know what we are capable of this year.
00:30So, I mean, we already feel like ourselves.
00:32We are the best backdoor in the nation.
00:34So, I mean, that's how we carry ourselves in and out of this building.
00:36Rather than schoolwork, training, recovery,
00:39we make sure each other really get what's needed.
00:42What's it like having 31 freshmen join the team?
00:45How do you get to know each other?
00:47I'll say it was a little weird, especially because, like, just the dynamics.
00:52But, like, you walk into the locker room, you got a whole new pod made,
00:55like, someone's right next to you never even knew,
00:57or they're two years younger than you.
00:59So, I mean, it's definitely been kind of a different, like, change.
01:02But they've embraced it.
01:03They are great kids, funny guys.
01:05Like, they're just like us.
01:06So, I mean, they all come here for the same reason like us,
01:08to just do the best we can in this sport we love.
01:11So, yeah.
01:11So, yeah.
