Danny gets out of prison and decides the plan is simple. Fix things with his daughter. That’s the pitch. The movie then immediately rips it up and hands him a different assignment: she’s kidnapped, a violent community is involved, and now the two of them are basically targets on a map.

Danny goes off-the-grid and spends the rest of the runtime doing what ex-special forces types do when nobody helps. He tracks. He dismantles threats. He moves fast, hits harder, and makes sure his “rebuild family” arc survives about as long as a match in the rain.

It’s a one-man pressure cooker with a nasty streak. Less talk, more consequences. If you want a thriller where the skills actually get used and nobody gets to feel safe for more than a few minutes, this is your kind of chaos.

Danny ist raus aus dem Knast, aber klar. Der eigentliche Kampf beginnt erst. Er will die Beziehung zu seiner Tochter wieder geradebiegen. Klingt nach Familienfilm. Bis die Tochter plötzlich weg ist und eine gewalttätige Gemeinschaft hinter ihm her ist wie ein Albtraum mit Motivation. Danny geht off-the-grid, verschwindet aus dem System und macht das, was er am besten kann: Spuren lesen, Rückzugsorte aussortieren und sich durch Leute kämpfen, die offenbar zu viel Zeit für „Mörderischer Kult“ hatten.

Es ist weniger „emotionale Versöhnung“ als „Ein Mann, zu viele Trainingsstunden, ein Haufen Ärger“. Ziemlich direkt, ziemlich hart, und wenn du Bock auf Thriller hast, in denen der Held keine Pause bekommt, bist du hier genau richtig.
