Hafenschutzflottille Ostende 1941-43

The office originated in February 1941 from that of the port commander of Boulogne, whose duties it continued to perform. However, as early as December 1941, it was downgraded back to a port commandant's office and placed under the newly established commander of naval defense Pas-de-Calais.
