00:09Knowing for his strong anti-Western rhetoric and large media following, Seba is wanted by Benin over alleged support for
00:16a failed coup attempt in December.
00:18Police say he was detained in Pretoria alongside one of his sons and a facilitator, accused of attempting to illegally
00:26cross into Zimbabwe via Limpopo River, reportedly with plans to continue on to Europe.
00:33He remains in custody with a court appearance scheduled for April 20th.
00:37Seba, whose real name is Stilio Giles Robert Capocichi, faces charges in Benin, including inciting rebellion and threatening state security.
00:47A vocal critic of France and African governments aligned with Paris, he leads the NGO Urgences Pan-Africanists and has
00:56publicly supported military regimes in the Sahel.
00:59Authorities in Benin say they are preparing to secure his transfer, though sources suggest Seba would prefer to be sent
