00:00You know, one thing that, you know, stands out to me about you, and I've been talking to people, there's
00:06a lot of people in the BKFC in their late 30s and early 40s.
00:09We see in the UFC, there's fighters that sort of only start to figure it out in their mid-30s.
00:16We're in a new era right now, aren't we?
00:19I mean, basically, look, man, you're a 43, 44-year-old man, literally fighting dudes half your age sometimes, right?
00:26Like, BKFC is pretty wild.
00:27Like, you know, you've got to respect, like, a 21-year-old kid, right?
00:30That's like, hey, I'll do this.
00:31Let's go.
00:32So you've got, like, grown men.
00:34You've got kids.
00:35Like, you know, you've got all kinds of different mix in this company.
00:39How do you feel, man, like, basically as a middle-aged man right now?
00:43And you're looking pretty damn good, and it seems like you're just starting to figure this BKFC thing out right
00:48now, riding a three-fight streak.
00:50Yeah, I've been with the BKFC for, I guess, three years.
00:54We're right in the three-year and X amount of month mark.
00:58And just like everything I do sport-wise, like, if you just give me enough time, I'll figure out how
01:04to play the game at the appropriate level.
01:08And my age, never worry about how old I am.
01:11I'm still this immature 16-year-old kid in my head.
01:15Yeah, I feel you.
01:16I feel you.
01:17And I'm older than you, bro, and I feel you.
01:19Trust me.
01:22I've always kept myself in shape.
01:24So, you know, I do like the fact that everyone I step in the ring with is younger than me.
01:31I joke with everyone.
01:32I say, no matter what, every time I step in that ring, somebody's going to be younger than me.
01:36And then it's funny because they start realizing, oh, they're older than I am physically when the fight starts.
01:45So, I don't really worry about that.
01:47I don't know.
01:48I think you're an inspiration, man.
01:50Like, for real.
01:51Show people.
01:52Listen, you can keep on rocking.
01:53And listen, you're not like an old man.
01:54I'm not portraying it in that sense.
01:57But I just loved it.
01:58I'm like, man, you're fighting something like 21, 22.
02:02So, three in a row right now.
02:04You're in pretty good shape right now considering.
02:06You know, we speak to fighters after the fights.
02:08And a lot of them need to wear sunglasses after.
02:10They got cast on their hands.
02:12So, you look pretty good.
02:13Your hands aren't bad right now.
02:15How long before you get an opportunity to fight again?
02:18And do you have an insight to this?
02:21Where you're going to fight?
02:22Do you want to fight someone specifically?
02:24What's next for the Dark Knight?
02:27Well, right now, I'm really politicking to try to fight July 3rd on that Philly card.
02:34Just because that was the day that my boxing coach passed away.
02:39So, for me, it'd be really, it'd feel good for me to fight on the July 3rd card.
02:43And, you know, I really don't call people out.
02:46It's not a call-out thing, you know, because I don't like sounding like an asshole or anything like that.
02:52But I've always, you know, whoever they say, hey, I get these offers.
02:57They say, hey, we want you to fight this guy on this date.
03:00I'm not going to say no.
03:02Whoever they put in front of me, I'll always take.
03:04But if I had to try to encourage a fight, I would definitely, I would like to fight Lorenzo Hunt
03:11for the light heavyweight title.
03:14Respectfully, I'm not saying, oh, I'll kick your ass or anything.
03:16It's just, I would love to fight Lorenzo Hunt for the light heavyweight title.
03:20So, I got to do whatever I have to do to ensure that that comes to fruition.
03:23So, I'm going to start with the light heavyweight title.
