01:14Rather than constant adjournments, there was a discussion of our parliamentarians, opposition and those of the government
01:21to be able to have a perspective on what do they believe and why does the government believe
01:25that these are not only important bills in history of the country,
01:28but there will be no injustice done to any state, that no state will have reduced number of seats.
01:37So we'll go across in just a short while to the details coming in from the Parliament.
01:42But this is going to be important because the voting will remember the focus is not as much on the
01:47Women Reservation Bill,
01:48which is a part of it, which is the main issue that we are discussing and debating here.
01:53However, the fact that India is set to have a reservation for women,
01:58but that also may be connected and linked to delimitation that's happening,
02:03Prime Minister Modi has already appealed to all MPs to vote for the Reservation Bill,
02:07adding that this is not any favour that is being done to women of this country,
02:11but it's their right that finally is coming to them.
02:14The opposition maintains that this Women's Bill is only a mask to get the delimitation done
02:21where the southern states specifically or non-BGP-governed states are likely to suffer,
02:27especially vis-a-vis the population.
