00:00Why are you fighting with the Pope?
00:01And are you worried it's upsetting your evangelical order to go to the Pope?
00:04No, no, I don't. I have to do what's right.
00:06The Pope has to understand that it's very simple.
00:09I have nothing against the Pope.
00:10His brother is MAGA all the way. I like his brother, Louis.
00:13So why are you fighting with him?
00:14I'm not fighting with him. The Pope made a statement.
00:17He says Iran can have a nuclear weapon.
00:19I say Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
00:22And if the Pope looked at the 42,000 people that were killed
00:25over the last two or three months as a protester with no weapons, no nothing.
00:31I mean, you take a look at that.
00:32So I can disagree with the Pope. I have a right to disagree.
00:36I have a right to disagree with the Pope.
00:38What do you say to people who see that, who see your criticism of the public?
00:41You can't have, look, nothing.
00:44I have no disagreement with the fact the Pope can say what he wants.
00:49And I want him to say what he wants.
00:52But I can disagree.
00:53I think that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
00:56If they do, the whole world would be in jeopardy.
00:59The Middle East will be blown up and the whole world will be in jeopardy.
01:02We're very close to making a deal. That'll be a great thing.
01:05The Pope has to understand.
01:07Iran has killed more than 42,000 people over the last few months.
01:11Think of it. Protesters without guns, without anything.
01:15They were totally unarmed protesters.
01:17The Pope has to understand that.
01:19This is the real world. It's a nasty world.
01:22But as far as the Pope and saying what he wants, he can do that.
01:26Now, I know the Pope's brother.
01:27He is a big MAGA person.
01:29He's got MAGA all over his house.
01:31His name is Louis.
01:32He's actually a great guy.
01:33And I'm sure the Pope is a great guy.
01:35I haven't met him.
01:36But I disagree with the Pope.
01:38If the Pope would allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon, you can't do that.
01:43We need to let him play a little bit.
01:45The President…
01:45So, the President…
01:46Antidim Merzhak from MTV Lebanon.
01:48No. Not really.
01:48Antidim Merzhak from MTV Lebanon.
01:50What?
01:51Antidim Merzhak from MTV Lebanon.
01:52I would like to ask you, regarding congratulations for the 10th vote.
01:56The President…
01:56Yeah, it's very exciting.
01:57With Lebanon, it's very exciting.
01:58I think we're going to have a deal.
02:00We're going to have a meeting.
02:01First time in 44 years.
02:03And Lebanon will be meeting with Israel, and they're probably gonna do it at the White House.
02:08The Press, President, when do you think they will?
02:10The President, over the next week or two.
02:12The Press, and do you think this agreement can reach
02:15without Hezbollah agreeing to the government?
02:17The President, I think we will have an agreement
02:18between Lebanon, and they're going to take care of Hezbollah.
02:22But they're going to be working on Hezbollah right now.
02:25But we'll have an agreement between Israel,
02:27very importantly, and Lebanon.
02:29The Press, will you support our Lebanese army as well?
02:31The President, I would. I would, yeah.
02:34The Press, has Hezbollah agreed to the ceasefire?
02:38I mean, how do you even do that?
02:39The President, they're all agreeing.
02:39It's a very nice little package for about a week.
02:44And we're not going to have lots of bombs dropping.
02:46And we're going to see if we can make peace
02:48between Lebanon and Israel.
02:50The Press, President, because there was a group of bishops
02:53that did put out a statement saying the Pope isn't
02:55merely exercising his opinion.
02:56He's preaching the Gospel.
02:58I mean, what do you say to people that view this
02:59as an attack on the Catholic Church?
02:59The President, I want them to preach the Gospel.
03:01I'm all about the Gospel.
03:02But I also know that you cannot let a certain country,
03:06which is a very mean-spirited country, have a nuclear weapon.
03:10If they did, they would use it.
03:11And I think they'd use it quickly.
03:13And they would kill many millions of people.
03:15So, you know, the Pope could disagree with me on that.
03:17But certainly, we're allowed to have that.
03:19I'm all about the Gospel.
03:21I'm about it as much as anybody can be.
03:23But I can't allow, as President of the United States of America,
03:28I can't allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon.
03:30And here's the story.
03:31They won't have.
03:32They've already agreed not to have.
03:35That's good news.
03:36And I think the Pope will be very happy.
03:38The Press, President Trump, you said yesterday that
03:41the Federal Reserve should wait and see about this Iran
03:43war before lowering interest rates.
03:45Do you agree with that?
03:46President Trump, I don't agree.
03:47I think we should have lower interest rates.
03:48The Press, President Trump, Iran is going to
03:50execute four more protesters, accordingly,
03:52including the first women protester.
03:55What do you tell Iran, sir?
03:56President Trump, what do you say?
03:58Tell that to the Pope.
