00:00A Department of Homeland Security employee was murdered this week by an immigrant who was also
00:04a convicted felon. Lauren Bullis was an auditor for the Department of Homeland Security's Office
00:08of the Inspector General. She was both shot and stabbed while out walking her dog in Marietta,
00:14Georgia. A neighbor who ran out of her house after hearing the gunfire told local news that
00:18it appeared as though the suspect, 26-year-old Ola Ulu Keaton Aidan Abel, was trying to sexually
00:24assault Bullis at the time. Sickeningly, this tragedy was not even an isolated incident.
00:28The murder was part of a rampage that left another unidentified woman dead and a homeless
00:33man critically injured, all at the hands, police say, of one man. Cops were able to nab the suspect
00:38a short time after Bullis died. DHS Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen revealed that the suspect was born
00:43in the UK and became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2022 under President Biden, and at the time
00:48already had a lengthy rap sheet that included convictions for sexual battery, battery against
00:52a police officer, obstruction, and assault with a deadly weapon. DHS has started a
00:57denaturalization process for him.
