00:00All right, so I'm in a furniture store yesterday, okay, I'm shopping for a couch.
00:03Okay.
00:03Am I going to tell you which one I was in?
00:05I'm just going to, I was in a furniture store yesterday, okay?
00:07I'm with Kristen, I'm with Parker, okay, my two-year-old, and we're, you know, we're looking
00:13at couches, we're shopping around a little bit, Parker's kind of jumping couch to couch,
00:17she's having a blast in there and whatnot.
00:19She's having a blast.
00:19And they're like, yeah, try it out, you know, do this, do that.
00:22Well, I sit down, I'm kind of talking to Kristen, and I kind of hear some rattling, and I look
00:28over, and about two displays over, I see Parker grabbing one of the vases, glass vases, that
00:38they have on one of the tables there, and so I go, oh, no, so I jump up off the
00:46couch, I
00:46run probably about, I don't know, 30 feet to get to her, but as I get to her, this table
00:54that has the vase on it has a carpet underneath it, like a rug, right?
00:58Because they're doing a showcase, so you can see it, they're making it look like home,
01:01so that you've envisioned that, right?
01:03Well, as I step on this carpet, it is not taped down.
01:07Oh, no.
01:08So, you have a very slick floor underneath, okay?
01:12I go sliding, I mean, legitimately sliding out.
01:17Like face first slide?
01:19No, like feet come out from underneath me.
01:21Feet come out.
01:21As soon as I step on that thing, feet come out from under me.
01:23Because you were moving.
01:24Because I was moving, trying to, I'm about ready to try to catch this vase that Parker's
01:29playing with, okay?
01:30So then, as I'm doing that, I take out Parker.
01:34Oh, no.
01:34Because I slide, I slip, and so I take her legs out, so she goes down, and then the vase
01:41right there, I do make the play, and catch the vase, okay?
01:45No!
01:45Look at you!
01:45You caught the vase!
01:46I caught the vase, okay?
01:47Oh, my gosh.
01:47But I did take out a two-year-old in the process, and by the way, it was a huge
01:53commotion because
01:54I hit the table, because I was actually the one that knocked the vase over it by the time
01:58I got it, by the time I got over there.
02:00So, I catch this, and it's a huge thing, and obviously, Parker's startled, so then it's
02:06a pause after you hear this big bang, and then it's, whee!
02:11Like that.
02:11Like, so, someone comes from around the corner, and they go, is she okay?
02:14Is she okay?
02:15And I go, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, she's okay, she's okay, and I'm, like, embarrassed.
02:19I'm thinking to myself, all right, I gotta fix this rug, I gotta put this table back to
02:23where it was, I gotta put this vase, I'm like, yeah, yeah, we're good over here, we're
02:25good over here, and then I look down at my knee, bleeding.
02:29I look down at my arm, you see my arm right here?
02:32Wow, look at that, you scuffed it up pretty bad.
02:35Bleeding, and I'm like, well, I can't sit on any more couches now that I'm bleeding all over
02:39this furniture store.
02:41What was the bead from the table that you hit?
02:42Because I just, yeah, I went right into the table, this glass table, went right into it.
02:45So then I, so I go around the corner, and I see Kristen, and she goes, what happened?
02:52And I go, I, it was me, I, I, it was Parker, it was, I go, I slipped, and I
02:58hit the table,
02:59and she goes, I thought it was way too loud to be Parker.
03:02And so then I told, the lady saw me, and I, and she saw me scuffed up, she goes, are
03:07you
03:07okay?
03:07And I go, yeah, it was actually me that fell, the baby's totally fine, she was a little
03:12startled, but I went in, and it was so embarrassing, because then we had, we continued to shop,
03:18so we had to continue to talk to these people.
03:21Oh, you're the guy that knocked over the table.
03:23Right, right, right, all right, so now that you've done that, we wanted to show you this
03:26couch over here, if you want to check it out, and then I was not able to sit down on
03:30any
03:30of the couches.
03:31Because you're bleeding.
03:31Because I'm bleeding, and they're like, do you want us to get you anything?
03:33I'm like, no, I really just want to get out of here right now.
03:35You wouldn't take, like, something to wipe off the blood, you're on your arm?
03:39No, so I was just...
03:40They don't want you in the store.
03:42I was, I, we left shortly after that, but it was very embarrassing, but top three moments
03:48for sure that I took out on a display at this furniture store and my kid at the same time.
03:53I can't believe you pushed your two-year-old out of the way to catch a vase.
03:57I didn't push her, didn't push her.
03:58What happened was, like I said, my legs came out from under me because when I, I mean,
04:03literally pulled the rug out from under me, I slipped, and then as I, like, think about
04:07me, like, sliding into second base, I slid, and that's when I took her out with my legs.
04:13Not that I was trying to push her by any means, but knocked her down, and I went, oh, my
04:17gosh,
04:18this is awful.
04:19But, you know, at first, I kind of had to be like, oh, yeah, yeah, she's fine.
04:22And it's not, she fell, you know, but in reality, it was me that caused the whole thing.
04:27I can't believe you caught the vase.
04:29Caught the vase.
04:29That would have been horrible.
04:31That would have been even worse.
04:32Shattered everywhere.
04:33Glass everywhere.
04:34Who knows if they would have charged me or whatever.
04:35Oh, they would have.
04:36Yeah.
04:36So it was just a bad scene, all around injuries.
04:40How are you doing this morning?
04:41I'm doing fine.
04:42I mean, I didn't, I don't have any problems with my hip or anything like that.
04:45I was going to say.
04:47But I hit that crown hard yesterday.
04:50So it was, it was so bad.
